Aphids are a major global wheat,pest that can cause considerable loss of yield.Modeling of aphid population dynamics is an integral part of management strategies to manage or control aphid populations.In this paper,fi...Aphids are a major global wheat,pest that can cause considerable loss of yield.Modeling of aphid population dynamics is an integral part of management strategies to manage or control aphid populations.In this paper,first,a wheat aphid population dynamics model was developed based on a logistic model and theⅠlollingⅢfunctional response,which includes three factors:temperature,natural enemies and insecticide.Second,this model fitted with a cusp catastrophe model to describe how abrupt changes in the wheat aphid population were influenced by these factors,Finally,the system was validated with field data from 2016 to 2018.The bifurcation set of the cusp catastrophe model was deemod to be the quantified dynamic control threshold,so an outbreak of aphid's population can be explained according to the variation of control variables.In short,this aphid population model was successfully validated on survey data,which can be used to guide the prevention and control of aphids.展开更多

When the complex ne...With the rapid development of computer science and artificial intelligence technology, the complexity and intelligence of the neural network models constructed by people have been greatly improved. When the complex neuron system is subjected to the impact of "catastrophic", its original characteristics may be changed, and the consequences are difficult to predict. Catastrophe dynamics mainly studies the source of the sudden violent change of nature and human society and its evolution. The impact of the system can be divided into endogenous and exogenous shocks. In this article, catastrophe theory is used to study the neuron system. Based on the mean field model of Hurst and Sornette, introducing the weight parameters, mathematical models are constructed to study the response characteristics of the neuron system in face of exogenous shocks, endogenous shocks, and integrated shocks. The time characteristics of the shock response of the neuron system are discussed too, such as the instantaneous and long-term response of the system in face of shocks, the different response forms according to the weight or linear superposition, and the influence of adjusting parameters on the neuron system. The research result shows that the authoritarian coefficient and weight coefficient have a very important influence on the response of neuron system; By adjusting the two coefficients, the purpose of disaster prevention, self-healing protection and response reducing can be well achieved.展开更多
The Lewisian turning-point obviously increase the labor costs of Chinese manufacturing firms,it made the employee turnover to become the key problem that how to keep the enterprise human resource stability.Here,the co...The Lewisian turning-point obviously increase the labor costs of Chinese manufacturing firms,it made the employee turnover to become the key problem that how to keep the enterprise human resource stability.Here,the conceptual catastrophe model of employee turnover is built from the new perspective of empirical study and catastrophe theory.In particular,we developed a parameter estimation method of the Cusp catastrophe model based on qualitative simulation and fuzzy math,and then to demonstrate the rationality and robustness of this method by a practical case on a manufacturing enterprise.In the end,a series of virtual experiments are carried out for the employee turnover in the period of China’s economic transformation.The main results are that,how to measure the warning,critical and mutation area of employee turnover;the real relationship between the complex economic environment and the demission of employees;the control policy from the macroscopic governmental measures and microscopic enterprise ways.展开更多
Ecological security defined as the creation of a condition where the physical surroundings of a community provide for the needs of its inhabitants without diminishing its natural stock,which is important for regional ...Ecological security defined as the creation of a condition where the physical surroundings of a community provide for the needs of its inhabitants without diminishing its natural stock,which is important for regional security and social stability.In recent years,land use patterns in the Changbai Mountain region have changed significantly with intensive human activities,and consequently led to increasing problems in regional ecological security.Based on the Pressure-State-Impact-Response(PSIR) model and the mathematical method of catastrophe progression supported by geographical information system(GIS),the ecological security situation of the study area under land use and cover change(LUCC) was evaluated.The results indicated that the ecological security in Changbai Mountain region varied nonlinearly,which got better from 1990 to 2000 but became worse from 2000 to 2007,the ecological security levels in Changbai Mountain region were mainly medium and medium to low during the past 17 years,with higher values of Ecological Security Index(ESI) in the central region and lower values in the east and west,the ecological security situation was more serious in the settlements and river valleys,where the LUCC was most remarkable.展开更多
