The results are in good agreement with available experimental data, with exception of YbO and LuF. The reasons for the discrepancies in case of YbO are due to a complicated mixing of configurations in the ground state, whereas in case of LuF the binding energy estimated by experimentalists appears to be too low.展开更多

This approach is formulated within the framework of assumed strain methods and strain smoothing operations. The strain smoothing is defined through strain averaging in the element sub-domains which are subsequently used for numerical integration of the Galerkin weak form. This formulation satisfies the orthogonality condition of the assumed strain methods. Meanwhile the present formulation totally avoids the gradient computation of the rational NURBS basis functions in the formulation of stiffness matrix. A transformation method is employed to accurately enforce the displacement boundary conditions. Numerical results demonstrate that the present formation gives very satisfactory solution accuracy simultaneously with improved computational efficiency.展开更多

In each element, contin- uous and discontinuous Helmholtz fields are defined with their equality enforced over the element boundary in a weak sense. The continuous field is based on the C° nodal interpolation and the discontinuous field can be condensed before assemblage. Hence, the element can readily be in- corporated seamlessly into the standard finite element program framework. Discontinuous fields constructed by the plane-wave, Bessel and singular spherical-wave solutions are attempted. Nu- merical tests demonstrate that some of the element models are consistently and considerably more accurate than their conventional counterparts.展开更多

文摘A strain smoothing formulation for NURBS (non-uniform rational B-splines) based isogeometric finite element analysis is presented. This approach is formulated within the framework of assumed strain methods and strain smoothing operations. This formulation satisfies the orthogonality condition of the assumed strain methods.
