First records of Brachineura in China, including three new species, namely B. sphaerica Jiao ＆ Bu, sp. nov., B. physiphora Jiao ＆ Bu, sp. nov.and B. prodolichata Jiao ＆ Bu, sp. nov., are described and illustrated.
