Measurements of the total radiated power and its spatial distribution are crucial for fusion research.On the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST),both the metal foil resistive bolometer and the absolute...Measurements of the total radiated power and its spatial distribution are crucial for fusion research.On the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST),both the metal foil resistive bolometer and the absolute extreme ultraviolet(AXUV)photodiodes have been used to quantify the radiated power.This article introduces the latest improvement of the bolometer diagnostic system on EAST.It also details the successful design and installation of new divertor AXUV cameras,which are dedicated to the investigation of divertor physics.The shielding components of the bolometer detector have been refined,and the article provides a detailed exposition of the double shielding structures that have been verified as effective in microwave shielding.Additionally,the changes in the radiated power distribution in the divertor region during the plasma detachment process are measured using the divertor AXUV camera.Finally,the radiated power measured by the AXUV detector and metal foil resistive bolometer are compared,and different detector performances are presented.展开更多
A numerical and experimental study was presented on active control of structurally radiated sound from an elastic cylindrical shell.An analytical model was developed for the active structural acoustic control (ASAC) o...A numerical and experimental study was presented on active control of structurally radiated sound from an elastic cylindrical shell.An analytical model was developed for the active structural acoustic control (ASAC) of the cylindrical shell.Both global and local control strategies were considered.The optimal control forces corresponding to each control strategy were obtained by using the linear quadratic optimal control theory.Numerical simulations were performed to examine and analyze the control performance under different control strategies.The results show that global sound attenuation of the cylindrical shell at resonance frequencies can be achieved by using point force as the control input of the ASAC system.Better control performance can be obtained under the control strategy of minimization of the radiated sound power.However,control spillover may occur at off-resonance frequencies with the control strategy of structural kinetic energy minimization in terms of the radiated sound power.Considerable levels of global sound attenuation can also be achieved in the on-resonance cases with the local control strategy,i.e.,minimization of the mean-square velocity of finite discrete locations.An ASAC experiment using an FXLMS algorithm was implemented,agreement was observed between the numerical and experimental results,and successful attenuation of structural vibration and radiated sound was achieved.展开更多

Therefore, acoustic pressure in the optical path everywhere can be determined absolutely by laser-interferometric technique and relative distribution of pressure in the middle and far acoustic field, which can be obtained from theory or experiment respectively. Theory and experiment of measurement of pressure in acoustic field with laser-interferometer are introduced. Distribution of pressure radiated by a power ultrasonic transducer is determined by laser interferometric technique. The theoretical and experimental results are in good agreement. The receiving sensitivity of a PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) transducer in free field is also calibrated absolutely due to above results and its sensitivity is -118.5 dB.展开更多
Recently,radiated electromagnetic interference(EMI)has become a research hotspot in power electronics systems,as the switching frequencies of power electronics systems have increased significantly with the adoption of...Recently,radiated electromagnetic interference(EMI)has become a research hotspot in power electronics systems,as the switching frequencies of power electronics systems have increased significantly with the adoption of wide-bandgap devices.In this article,a generalized radiated EMI model for power electronics converters with power cables is first reviewed.The radiated EMI model is then developed for a flyback power converter with critical ground impedance included.Based on the developed model,accurate high-frequency parameter extraction techniques and a radiated EMI prediction technique are developed and experimentally validated.Finally,essential measurement techniques are identified and developed to accurately extract parameters for accurate EMI prediction.The effects of the resolution bandwidth of the spectrum analyzer and critical PCB ground impedance on the radiated EMI are experimentally validated.PCB’s impact on the common-mode(CM)choke’s impedance and the radiated EMI is further validated.Techniques for minimizing the undesired near-field couplings in parameter extraction are discussed.The predicted EMI properly agreed with the measured EMI in the range of 30-230 MHz based on the EN550323 m class B standard.展开更多
