As an example, Chebyshev polynomial fitting results and its error analysis are given. Because it’s difficult generally to get a propeller atlas across four quadrants, a way is used to construct an alternative with higher accuracy based on the properties. As an application example, an alternative for the propeller property of a Deep Submergence Vehicle across four quadrants is given practically and a simulation model of the four quadrants propeller for dynamic condition is set up. The model lays a foundation for DSV full operating-condition movement simulation. A lot of simulation work shows that the results are very close to the practical data and, therefore, are effective.展开更多

To improve tracking accuracy, the unscented Kalman filter (UKF), which has better nonlinear approximation ability, is adopted. In addition, to reduce the possibility of radar being locked-on by adverse electronic support measure (ESM), radar is under the intermittent-working state. After radar is turned off, the possible target position is estimated by a set of time polynomials, which is constructed based on the sufficient observations done before radar is turned off, the estimated values from time polynomials are compared with the current observation values from infrared to determine the time when radar is turned on. Simulation results show the method has a good tracking accuracy and effectively reduces the possibility of radar being locked-on by adverse ESM.展开更多

This paper presents a new kind of uniform spline curve, named trigonometric polynomial B-splines, over space Ω = span{sini,cost, tk-3,tk-4, …,t, 1} of which k is an arbitrary integer larger than or equal to 3. We sh...This paper presents a new kind of uniform spline curve, named trigonometric polynomial B-splines, over space Ω = span{sini,cost, tk-3,tk-4, …,t, 1} of which k is an arbitrary integer larger than or equal to 3. We show that trigonometric polynomial B-spline curves have many similar properties to traditional B-splines. Based on the explicit representation of the curve we have also presented the subdivision formulae for this new kind of curve. Since the new spline can include both polynomial curves and trigonometric curves as special cases without rational form, it can be used as an efficient new model for geometric design in the fields of CAD/CAM.展开更多
