The pure K2GeF6 phase with P63 mc space group other than P3m1 space group was affirmed just by incorporation of Si in K2GeF6 at room temperature according to XRD characterization. SEM images showed lamellar and octahedron grain morphology for K2GeF6:Mn^4+ and K2(Ge,Si)F6:Mn^4+ phosphors, respectively. It was also found that the photoluminescence excitation(PLE) and photoluminescence(PL) showed slight displacement in K2GeF6:Mn^4+ and K2(Ge,Si)F6:Mn^4+ system. And the zero-phonon line(ZPL) of the PL spectrum of K2GeF6:Mn^4+ with Si showed a strong peak. Meanwhile crystalline field surrounding Mn^4+ changes could affect the decay time in this fluoride system. The color gamut of the LED devices based on K2(Ge,Si)F6:Mn^4+ and K2GeF6:Mn^4+ reached up to 94.58% NTSC(National Television Standards Committee) and 94.386% NTSC, respectively, that was much higher than that based on nitride red phosphors. All these original characteristics in K2(Ge,Si)F6:Mn^4+ phosphor are desirable for potential applications as a red phosphor for improving lighting and display quality of conventional white LEDs.展开更多
Objective To probe into the pathogenic mechanisms of paraneoplastic limbic encephali- tis( PL E) in patients with small cell lung carcinoma( SCLC) .Methods The indirect im- munoperoxidase method and Western blotanalys...Objective To probe into the pathogenic mechanisms of paraneoplastic limbic encephali- tis( PL E) in patients with small cell lung carcinoma( SCLC) .Methods The indirect im- munoperoxidase method and Western blotanalysis were used for detecting anti- Hu antibodies in1 6 PLE patients associated with SCL C.Autopsy and pathological study were performed on two cases.Results Eight patients( 5 0 % ) had anti- Hu antibodies( anti- Hu+) whereas eight patients ( 5 0 % ) no detectable antineuronal antibodies ( anti- Hu- ) .The clinical and laboratory features of PLE and time to diagnosis of SCLC were similar in the anti- Hu+and anti- Hu- groups.Involvement of other areas of the nervous system in seven( 87.5 % ) patients of the anti- Hu+group but in only one ( 1 2 .5 ) % of the anti- Hu- group ( P=0 .0 1 2 ) . Conclusions The presence of this characteristic neurological disorder strongly suggested that with an ac- companying SCLC,existence of anti- Hu autoantibody was in favour of an autoimmune mech- anism participating in PLE.展开更多

It is 2 472 bp long in full length with a single open reading frame and e...In this paper, a highly conservedpiggyBac-like sequence, designated as McrPLE was cloned from a lepidopteran insect, Macdunnoughia crassisigna. It is 2 472 bp long in full length with a single open reading frame and encodes a 595 amino acid transposase. It shares identical terminal and sub-terminal repeats with T. ni IFP2 and is flanked by the typical TTAA target-site duplications. Alignment and phylogenetic analysis revealed that McrPLE had greater than 99.5% identity and appeared to be the closest one in phylogeny to IFP2 among the PLEs so far found in various species. Plasmid-based excision and transposition assay proved it was mobile in cell culture. Otherwise, McrPLE element and all other highly conserved IFP2 sequences reported previously were found to share three common nucleotide substitutions. This suggests that the original IFP2 may be a related variant of a predecessor element that became widespread. The existence of nearly identical piggyBac sequence in reproductively isolated species was thought also a strong indication of horizontal transmission, which raises important considerations for the stability and practical use ofpiggyBac transformation vectors.展开更多
