All the three types contain at least two major generations of inherited zircons with Precambrian ( >650 Ma) and early Mesozoic ages (200-250 Ma), respectively. The former suggests that these plu-tonic rocks are of crustal origin and that Precambrian basement with component of sialic crust up to 3.4 Ga old ( Middle Archean) exists in the region. The presence of abundant inherited zircons with early Mesozoic age indicates that the Precambrian basement was affected by a major tectono-thermal event, that is the collision of the North and South China blocks, at 250 Ma to 200 Ma. SHRIMP results also indicate that the gold mineralization in the region took place between 126 Ma and 120 Ma.展开更多

Detrital zircons ages from the sedimentary xenoliths have four prominent peaks at 2.5–2.4 Ga, 1.9–1.8 Ga, 480–400 Ma, and 350–300 Ma, whereas those from the country rock exhibit another four prominent peaks at 1.9–1.8 Ga, 850–700 Ma, 480–400 Ma, and 300–250 Ma. Based on comparison with age data from previous studies, we suggest that the sedimentary xenoliths are from the Lanashan Formation and the major provenance of them is Qiangtang Block, Zhongza massif and South China Block, whereas the country rock belongs to the Lamaya Formation and the major provenance of them is similar to those of the neighbouring Songpan-Garzê terrane. In addition, the inherited zircons from the Late Triassic granites in the eastern Yidun arc belts have a prominent Neoproterozoic age population(900–700 Ma), which suggests that there is an old basement with west Yangtze Craton affinity beneath the Triassic sediments. Combining with previous studies, we propose that the provenances of the formations vary from the Lanashan Formation to the Lamaya Formation which may indicate a record of the final closure of the Garzê-Litang Ocean.展开更多

The result indicates that metamorphic growth zircon has high 176Hf/177Hf (0.282544―0.282612) and low 176Lu/177Hf (0.000004―0.000211) ratio, inherited and recrystallized proto-lith zircon has low 176Hf/177Hf (0.282266―0.282466) and high 176Lu/177Hf (0.000090―0.002144) composi-tions. The low 176Lu/177Hf of growth zircon comes from its decreasing of Lu and increasing of Hf during UHP process. The high 176Hf/177Hf deduced from high radiogenic 176Hf,which was produced from long-term evolution of high Lu/Hf ratio minerals. Partial recrystallization of protolith zircon would not cause reworking of Lu/Hf isotope in zircon. Compared to U-Pb,zircon Lu-Hf system has better stability. The initial Hf isotope composition of metamorphic growth zircon may represent the Hf isotope compo-sition of whole rock system at the same time. The initial εHf of +3.0 for metamorphic precursor formation of Xindian eclogite indicates that the source material mainly derived from weak depleted mantle or mixing of depleted mantle with old crust.展开更多

文摘Hf isotope measurement has been carried out for UHP metamorphic eclogite from Xindian by using LA-MC-ICP-MS technique. The result indicates that metamorphic growth zircon has high 176Hf/177Hf (0.282544―0.282612) and low 176Lu/177Hf (0.000004―0.000211) ratio, inherited and recrystallized proto-lith zircon has low 176Hf/177Hf (0.282266―0.282466) and high 176Lu/177Hf (0.000090―0.002144) composi-tions.
