Several methods including molecular mechanics, molecular dynamics, ONIOM that combines quantum chemistry with molecular mechanics and standard quantum chemistry are used to study the configuration and electron structu...Several methods including molecular mechanics, molecular dynamics, ONIOM that combines quantum chemistry with molecular mechanics and standard quantum chemistry are used to study the configuration and electron structures of an adduct of the DNA segment d(ATACATG*G*TACATA)·d(TATGTACCATGTAT) with cis-[Pt(NH3)(2-Picoline)]2+. The investigation shows that the configuration optimized by ONIOM is similar to that determined by NMR. Strong chemical bonds between Pt of the complex and two N7s of neighboring guanines in the DNA duplex and hydrogen bond between the NH3 of the complex and O6 of a nearby guanine have a large impact on the configuration of the adduct. Chemical bonds, the aforementioned hydrogen bond, and the interaction between a methyl of the complex and a methyl of the base in close proximity are critical for the complex to specifically recognize DNA.展开更多
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world,survival rates of breast cancer are rising as screening and treatment improve.Many new technologies applied in the biomedical domain have been born for rapi...Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world,survival rates of breast cancer are rising as screening and treatment improve.Many new technologies applied in the biomedical domain have been born for rapid diagnosis and treatment.In this work,visualization cell microarray chip with threedimensional(3 D)embedded cell scaffold for cell diagnosis and treatment was designed.DNA segment,targeting on breast cancer cells SK-BR-3,were modified with camptothecin and used as model drug.Cell microarray chip system successfully control the diffusion of small molecules and locally introduced the compounds into cells.3 D embedded cell scaffold in the cell array chip afforded an environment with continuous medium supplementary and help controlling the diffusion of small molecules drugs.By cell microarray chip system,SK-BR-3 was targeted screening and killing in one step.Cell microarray chip system can achieve accurate,rapid diagnosis and target treatment of breast cancer cells SK-BR-3 and have a potential to develop to be an effective and accurate drug screen method for evaluating the drug effect of the booming chemicals.展开更多

The population was assayed with DNA markers and phenotyped on planthopper res...A backcross recombinant inbred line population consisting of 202 lines was developed from Xieqingzao B//Xieqingzao B / Dongxiang wild rice. The population was assayed with DNA markers and phenotyped on planthopper resistance and yield traits. A linkage map consisting of 119 DNA markers and spanned for 1188 cM over the 12 rice chromosomes was constructed. Thirty-two chromosomal segment substitution lines were selected based on the percentage of Xieqingzao B allele at marker loci. These lines are of great potential for gene mapping and alien gene introgression.展开更多
