In 2013,China issued the"Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution"("Ten Statements of Atmosphere")and implemented a series of pollution reduction measures from 2013 to 2017.In ke...In 2013,China issued the"Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution"("Ten Statements of Atmosphere")and implemented a series of pollution reduction measures from 2013 to 2017.In key regions of China,the mass concentrations of particulate matter with aerodynamic equivalent diameters less than 2.5μm(PM2.5)have dropped significantly.However,the contributions of meteorological changes to PM2.5 reduction are largely uncertain,which has attracted particular concern from the government and the public.Here,we investigated the impact of large-scale and boundary layer(BL)meteorological conditions on aerosol pollution and estimated the contributions of meteorological changes to PM2.5 reduction based on in-depth analysis and diagnosis of various observed meteorological elements and an integrated pollution-linked meteorological index(PLAM,which is approximately and linearly related to PM mass concentration).In this study,we found that the meteorological conditions worsened in 2014 and 2015 and improved in 2016 and 2017 relative to those in 2013 in key regions in China.In 2017 relative to 2013,only^5%(approximately 13%of the total PM2.5 decline)of the 39.6%reduction in PM2.5 mass concentrations can be attributed to meteorological changes in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region,and only^7%(approximately 20%of the total PM2.5 decline)of the 34.3%reduction can be attributable to meteorological changes in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)region.Overall,the PM2.5 reduction due to meteorological improvement is much lower than the observed PM2.5 reduction in these areas,which indicates that emission reduction during the five-year implementation of the"Ten Statements of Atmosphere"is the dominant factor in the improvement in air quality.The changes in meteorology and climate are conducive to PM2.5 reduction but do not dominate the substantial improvement in air quality.Similar to the above regions,in the Pearl River Delta(PRD)region,the impact of meteorological changes on the annual averaged PM2.5 concentration from 2013 展开更多
A systematic review was conducted to identify and qualitatively analyze the methods as well as recommendations of Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) and Best Practice Statements (BPS) concerning varicocele in the ...A systematic review was conducted to identify and qualitatively analyze the methods as well as recommendations of Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) and Best Practice Statements (BPS) concerning varicocele in the pediatric and adolescent population. An electronic search was performed with the MEDLINE, EMBASE, Science Direct, and Scielo databases, as well as guidelines' Web sites until September 2015. Four guidelines were included in the qualitative synthesis. In general, the recommendations provided by the CPG/BPS were consistent despite the existence of some gaps across the studies. The guidelines issued by the American Urological Association (AUA) and American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) did not provide evidence-based levels for the recommendations given. Most of the recommendations given by the European Association of Urology (EAU) and European Society of Pediatric Urology (ESPU) were derived from nonrandomized clinical trials, retrospective studies, and expert opinion. Among all CPG/BPS, only one was specifically designed for the pediatric population. The studied guidelines did not undertake independent cost-effectiveness and risk-benefit analysis. The main objectives of these guidelines were to translate the best evidence into practice and provide a framework of standardized care while maintaining clinical autonomy and physician judgment. However, the limitations identified in the CPG/BPS for the diagnosis and management of varicocele in children and adolescents indicate ample opportunities for research and future incorporation of higher quality standards in patient care.展开更多

Researchers utilize information from the geoscience literature to deduce the regional or global geological evolution.Traditionally this process has relied on the labor of researchers.As the number of papers continues ...Researchers utilize information from the geoscience literature to deduce the regional or global geological evolution.Traditionally this process has relied on the labor of researchers.As the number of papers continues to increase,acquiring domain-specific knowledge becomes a heavy burden.Knowledge Graph(KG)is proposed as a new knowledge representation technology to change this situation.However,the super relation is not considered in the previous KG,which bridges the geological phenomenon(fact)and its precondition(condition).For instance,in the statement(“the late Archean was a crucial transition period in the history of global geodynamics”),the condition statement(“crucial transition for global geodynamics”)works as the complementary fact statement(“the late Archean was a crucial transition period”),which defines the scale of crucial transition accurately in the late Archean.In this study,fact-condition statement extraction is introduced to construct a geological knowledge graph.A rule-based multi-input multi-output model(R-MIMO)is proposed for information extraction.In the R-MIMO,fact-condition statements and their super relation are considered and extracted for the first time.To verify its performances,a GeothCF dataset with 1455 fact tuples and 789 condition tuples is constructed.In experiments,the R-MIMO model achieves the best performance by using BERT as encoder and LSTM-d as decoder,achieving F180.24%in tuple extraction and F170.03%in tag prediction task.Furthermore,the geothermic KG with super relation is automatically constructed for the first time by trained R-MIMO,which can provide structured data for further geothermic research.展开更多
