The title compound crystallizes in triclinic, space group P with a = 11.611(3), b = 15.610(5), c = 15.624(7) , α = 113.942(6), β = 104.520(6), γ = 104.230(4)°, V = 2304.1(14) 3, C60H77Ag6N22O4.5S6, Mr = 2018.02, Dc = 1.454 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 1.435 mm-1, F(000) = 1005, Z = 1, the final R = 0.0468 and wR = 0.1474 for 6608 observed reflections (I 2σ(I)). In the structure, the S atom of the ligand L2 (L2 = benzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone) served as a triply bridged chelator to connect the six silver atoms into a Ag6L26 cluster. Complex 1 shows a 1-D chained structure, while the structure of 2 contains two 1-D chains, which is the first 1-tza-based complex containing three different coordination modes of the 1-tza ligand. The aromatic stacking effects play an important role in the formation of supramolecular frameworks of these two complexes. Photoluminescent studies show that the two complexes exhibit efficient luminescence. In addition, optical diffuse reflectance spectra and thermogravimetric analyses of 1 and 2 have also been investigated.展开更多

The clu...Reaction of the oligo(phenylenevinylene) 4,4'-bis(2,5-dimethylstyryl)biphenyl (bdb) with CF3CO2Ag in benzene gave a novel octanuclear sandwich cluster [Ags(bdb)2(C6H6)2(CF3CO2)8]·2C6H6 (1). The clusters are packed on each other through strong n-n interactions to form ^1D 'brick' chains, between which the solvated benzene molecules are located. TG analysis showed that cluster 1 could completely liberate the guest benzene molecules at 105℃ and the coordinated benzene molecules at 180 ℃. In this study,a novel class of histidine Schiff base silver(Ⅰ) complexes derived from salicylaldehyde,1a-9a,was found to be an effective inhibitor of α-glucosidase.The results of this study showed that the newly s...In this study,a novel class of histidine Schiff base silver(Ⅰ) complexes derived from salicylaldehyde,1a-9a,was found to be an effective inhibitor of α-glucosidase.The results of this study showed that the newly synthesized complexes inhibited α-glucosidase through noncompetitive mechanisms;the IC50values were ranging from 0.00431 μmol L ~1 to 0.492 μmol L ~1.The structure-activity relationship was established as well.These results demonstrated that compound 7a,5-nitro salicylaldehyde Schiff base silver complex,is the most promising α-glucosidase inhibitor with the lowest IC50 value,which could be exploited as a drug candidate to alleviate postprandial hyperglycemia in the treatment of type II diabetes mellitus.This research provided a catalyst-free,simple,and environmentally benign reaction to synthesize compounds using mechanochemistry.展开更多

Crystal data for 1: monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a = 9.5446(16), b = 12.3203(16), c = 21.056 (3) A, β = 98.075(2)°, V= 2451.5(6) A^3, T = 293(2) K, Z = 4, D,. = 1.819 g/cm^3, F(000) = 1336,μ = 0.912 mm^-1, S = 1.001, (△ρ)min = 0.849, the final R = 0.0391 and wR = 0.1286. The local geometry around the central metal AgO) ion is linear. Two carboxylic acids of neighboring ligands sharing one hydrogen atom by two hydrogen bonds result in the formation of an infinite hydrogen-bonded chain. Solid-state fluorescence of I at room temperature shows that the maximal emission peak occurs in 439 nm.展开更多
