By the principle of the natural boundary reduction, we obtain natural integral equation on elliptic artificial boundaries, the coupled variational problem and its numerical method. Moreover, the convergence and error estimate of the approximate solutions are obtained. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illuminate the feasibility of the method.展开更多

文摘The present paper investigates the asymptotic behavior of solutions for a class of second order inhomogeneous quasilinear equations on a three dimensional semiinfinite cylinder. A Phragmen-Lindelof type alternative is obtained, i.e., it is shown that in appropriate norms solutions of the equations either grow or decay as some spatial variable tends to infinity.
文摘In this paper, based on the Kirchhoff transformation, the coupling of natural boundary element method and finite element method are discussed for solving exterior anisotropic quasilinear problems with elliptic artificial boundary. By the principle of the natural boundary reduction, we obtain natural integral equation on elliptic artificial boundaries, the coupled variational problem and its numerical method. Moreover, the convergence and error estimate of the approximate solutions are obtained. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illuminate the feasibility of the method.

文摘In this paper, we are concerned with a weighted quasilinear elliptic equation involving critical Hardy-Sobolev exponent in a bounded G-symmetric domain. By using the symmetric criticality principle of Palais and variational method, we establish several existence and multiplicity results of positive G-symmetric solutions under certain appropriate hypotheses on the potential and the nonlinearity.

文摘In this article, we are concerned with the existence of solutions of a quasilinear elliptic equation in R^N which includes the so-called modified nonlinear Schrodinger equation as a special case. Combining the dual approach and the nonsmooth critical point theory, we obtain the existence of a nontrivial solution.
