FBRM (Focused Bea...In manufacturing process, it is necessary to measure change in CSD (Crystal Size Distribution) with time accurately because CSD is one of the most important indices that evaluate quality of products. FBRM (Focused Beam Reflectance Measurement) can measure CLD (Chord Length Distribution) in line, but CLD is different from CSD because of principle of FBRM. However, if CSD is determined beforehand, CLD can be calculated from the CSD with statistical method. First, when crystal shape is defined from the characteristic crystal size, the matrix of each crystal shape which transforms CSD into CLD in a uniform manner is calculated with Monte Carlo analysis. Characteristic crystal size is added to the variables defining chord length in order to avoid complex integrals and apply the change in crystal shape with characteristic crystal size to the transforming matrix. Secondly, CSD and CLD are actually measured in suspension of acetaminophen in ethanol and suspension of L-arginine in water to demonstrate the validity of 2 matrices. Lastly, these matrices are multiplied by some simple CSD models to test the properties of these matrices and demonstrate the utility of this transformation.展开更多

There are high signal propagation delays, high error rate, bandwidth variation and time-variety in NGSh In order to adapt to various space communication environment constraints and bandwidth variation, we propose a reduced dimension scalable video coding scheme based on CCSDS IDCS algorithm and quality of service (QoS) control method by cross layer design (CLD). Coronavirus causes an outbreak of viral pneumonia that spread throughout the world. Liver injury is becoming more widely recognized as a component of the clinical picture of COVID-19 infection. We aimed to review this...Coronavirus causes an outbreak of viral pneumonia that spread throughout the world. Liver injury is becoming more widely recognized as a component of the clinical picture of COVID-19 infection. We aimed to review this relation in a concise way. This review article includes a large number of patients from both western and eastern countries with no clear difference of liver affection. The more severe and frequent liver injury, the more severe COVID-19 infection. Up to half of patients developed hepatitis with serum ALT elevation. Both hepatocellular and/or ductular injury were observed as evidenced by alkaline phosphatase elevation. Increase incidence of morbidity and mortality had been recorded in patients with CLD. Cirrhosis mortality extended in line with the Child-Turcotte-Pugh class. The incidence of ACLF in CLD patients with COVID 19 is not clear. There are no significant associations with the etiology of liver disease and death in cirrhosis. COVID-19 hinders HCV elimination by 2030. Patients should continue their medications if already receiving treatment. Patients with occult or resolved HBV and COVID-19 who are receiving immunosuppressive agents should use antiviral therapy to prevent viral flare-ups.展开更多
The optimizations of constrained layered damped (CLD) laminated structures are discussed in this study. Genetic algorithms (GAs) are employed as the search tool for optimization because these algorithms are suitable f...The optimizations of constrained layered damped (CLD) laminated structures are discussed in this study. Genetic algorithms (GAs) are employed as the search tool for optimization because these algorithms are suitable for solving optimization problems involving multiple discrete variable combinations. The numerical computation packages, ANSYS and MATLAB, have been used to estimate the optimum stacking sequence of CLD laminated structures. MATLAB package is used to achieve GAs process, and ANSYS package is used to proceed the structural analysis. This study successfully developed a numerical simulation mechanism for optimizing CLD adhesion efficiency by implementing GAs and the finite element method. The loss coefficients of the CLD damping layer vary with vibration frequency and failure constraints of CLD laminated plates are considered in objective function. In addition, the modified plasticity analysis (MPA) is used to increase the search efficiency of GAs and simply plastic analysis.展开更多
