Background The computational fluid dynamics(CFD)approach has been frequently applied to compute the fractional flow reserve(FFR)using computed tomography angiography(CTA).This technique is efficient.We developed the D...Background The computational fluid dynamics(CFD)approach has been frequently applied to compute the fractional flow reserve(FFR)using computed tomography angiography(CTA).This technique is efficient.We developed the DEEPVESSEL-FFR platform using the emerging deep learning technique to calculate the FFR value out of CTA images in five minutes.This study is to evaluate the DEEPVESSEL-FFR platform using the emerging deep learning technique to calculate the FFR value from CTA images as an efficient method.Methods A single-center,prospective study was conducted and 63 patients were enrolled for the evaluation of the diagnostic performance of DEEPVESSEL-FFR.Automatic quantification method for the three-dimensional coronary arterial geometry and the deep learning based prediction of FFR were developed to assess the ischemic risk of the stenotic coronary arteries.Diagnostic performance of the DEEPVESSEL-FFR was assessed by using wire-based FFR as reference standard.The primary evaluation factor was defined by using the area under receiver-operation characteristics curve(AUC)analysis.Results For per-patient level,taking the cut-off value<0.8 referring to the FFR measurement,DEEPVESSEL-FFR presented higher diagnostic performance in determining ischemia-related lesions with area under the curve of 0.928 compare to CTA stenotic severity 0.664.DEEPVESSEL-FFR correlated with FFR(R=0.686,P<0.001),with a mean di&ference of-0.006士0.0091(P=0.619).The secondary evaluation factors,indicating per vessel accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,and negative predictive value were 87.3%,97.14%,75%,82.93%,and 95.45%,respectively.Conclusion DEEPVESSEL-FFR is a novel method that allows efficient assessment of the functional significance of coronary stenosis.展开更多

The single crystal of [Cu(adnp)2(H2O)2] was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in a triclinic system, space group p^-1 with crystal parameters a = 5.541(3) A, b = 7.926(4) A, c = 10.231(5) A,β = 101.372(8)°, V = 398.3(3) A3, Z = 1, μ = 1.467 mm^-1, F(0 0 0) = 243, and Dc = 2.000 g cm^-3. The thermal behavior and non-isothermal decomposition reaction kinetics of [Cu(adnp)2(H2O)2] were studied by means of different heating rate differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The kinetic equation of major exothermic decomposition reaction for [Cu(adnp)2(H2O)2] was obtained. The entropy of activation (△S≠), enthalpy of activation (△H≠), free energy of activation (△G≠), the self-accelerating decomposition temperature (TSADT) and the critical temperature of thermal explosion (Tb) are 59.42 j mol^-1 K^-1, 169.5 kJ mol^-1, 1141.26 kJ mol ^-1 457.3 K and 468.1 K, respectively.展开更多

However, limited information is available on the heart...Background The importance of heart rate as secondary prevention strategies for patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) is emphasized by multiple guidelines. However, limited information is available on the heart rate distribution and the change patterns of resting heart rate when initiating beta-blocker therapy among Chinese patients with CAD. Methods The REsults of Sympathetic Evaluation And Research of China (RESEARCH) study is a multi-centre, prospective, observational study involving 147 centers in 23 cities across China. All eligible beta-blocker naive patients were prescribed with metroprolol succinate. Initial dosage and target heart rate were selected at the discretion of their physicians in charge according to their usual institutional practice. The heart rate distribution and the change patterns of resting heart rate after initiation of beta-blocker therapy were observed. Results The majority of patients (63.6%) were prescribed with 47.5 mg metroprolol succinate. At baseline, there were only 17.4% of patients whose heart rate was less than 70 beats per minute, and the proportion reached 42.5% and 79.1%, one month and two months after initiation of beta-blockers, respectively. Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that baseline heart rate (B=0.900, SE=0.006, t=141.787, P〈0.0001) and the dosage (B=-0.007, SE=0.002, t=-3.242, P=0.001) were independent predictors of resting heart rate 2 months after beta-blocker therapy. Conclusions Resting heart rate is not optimally controlled in a broadly representative cohort of Chinese outpatients with CAD even after initiation of β-blocker therapy, and baseline heart rate and the dosage of beta-blocker are both independent predictors of resting heart rate after β-blocker therapy.展开更多
