METHODS: 76 SD rats were divided into 3 groups randomly:control group (group C, n=16) without any special treatnent,of E. coli(1×1010 cfu@ L-1,15 ml@kg-1, ip), treated group (group by rhGH injection (2.25 U@kg-1@d-1, im). Group S and group T were further divided into 1d and 3d subgroups, respectively (n=15 each). Mean arterial pressure (MAP), levels of plasma TNFα and endotoxin and leukocyte count were determined on 1st day and 3rd day after E. coli injection. Another 39 SD rats were divided into groups C, S and T (n=13 each) just for observing survival rate within 1 week.RESULTS: (1) On 1st and 3rd day, MAP in group S decreased markedly, and MAP on 1st day lowered more than that of 3rd day (P<0.01), while MAP in group T just decreased slightly. The survival rate within 1 week was much higher in group T (84.6 %) than in group S (46.2 %) (P<0.01). (2)On 1st day, plasma TNFα and endotoxin elevated significantly in group S and group T (P<0.05), and endotoxin in group S had more increase (P<0.01). On 3rd day, TNFα in group S returned to the level of group C (P>0.05),while TNFα in group T went down below the level of group C(P<0.01). On 3rd day, endotoxin in group S declined, but was still higher than that of group C (P<0.01), endotoxin in group T returned to the level of group C (P>0.05). (3) On 1st day, neutrophil ratio in total leukocyte count in both group S and group T increased significantly (P<0.05 vs group C).CONCLUSION: rhGH showed beneficial effects on rat septic shock. The possible mechanisms may involve the attenuation of bacteria/endotoxin translocation and decreased systemic endotoxin level; inhibition of the production and release of TNFα; improved circulatory function; improved systemic host defenses and maintenance of intestinal mucosa barrier.展开更多

The light microscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and immuno-histochemistry and flow cytometry were used to study the rates of tumor cell necrosis, proliferating cell nuclear antigen index, the micro vessel density (MVD). The changes of the biological response to the lymphatic transported 32p colloids in the inguinal lymph node (ILN) were dynamically observed, and the percentage of tumor cell apoptosis, and Apo2.7, caspase-3, Bcl-2, Baxrelated gene expression were observed too.RESULTS: The half-life of effective medication is 13 dafter injection of 32P colloids to the tumor stroma, in 1-6groups, the tumor cell necrosis rates were 20%, 45%,65%, 70%, 95% and 4%, respectively (F= 4.14-105.36, P<0.01). MVD were 38.5±4.0, 28.0±2.9, 17.0±2.9, 8.8±1.5,5.7±2.3 and 65.0±5.2 (t= 11.9-26.1, P<0.01), respectively.Under TEM fairly differentiated Pc-3 cells were found. Thirty days after medication, tumors were shrunk and dried with scabs detached, and those in control group increased in size prominently with plenty of hypodermic blood vessels. In all animals the ILN were enlarged but in medicated animals they appeared later and smaller than those in control group. The extent of irradiative injury in ILN was positively correlated to the dosage of medication. Typical tumor cell apoptosis could be found under TEM inanimals with intra-tumoral injection of low dosed 32P colloids. The peak of apoptosis occurred in 2.96 MBq group and 24 h after irradiation. In the course of irradiationinduced apoptosis, the value of Bcl-2/Bax was down regulated; Apo2.7 and caspase-3 protein expression were prominently increased dose dependently. CONCLUSION: 32p colloids intra-tumor injection havin展开更多

In order to gain a group of developed procedure in CFD, a set of convergent solutions are used as the initial value of next boundary condition, and the new set of convergent solutions are regarded as developing from the previous steady state. Three groups of developed procedures are gained from the rotating speed series of inner cylinder, respectively from the gradual increase procedure (GIP), the gradual decrease procedure (GDP) and the sudden increase procedure (SIP). It is proved that the convergent solutions of fluid control equations are different when they are solved from laminar state with the same boundary condition, the same fluid property, the same mesh grid in CFD and the same business software except that the flow states have developed from the procedures of GDP, GIP and SIP. It is shown that the developed procedure could leave behind some information in the performance of the flow. In other words, the flow between concentric rotating cylinders has somewhat memory for the procedure of its history.展开更多

Barium meal study suggested hypertrophic pyloric stenosis. Ultrasound of the stomach after water loading revealed an echogenic antral web with an eccentric aperture and distal antral hypertrophy.Subsequent endoscopy confirmed the ultrasound findings.Web resection and antropyloroplasty resulted in excellent recovery. To our knowledge, the barium meal and ultrasound findings of an antral web-associated distal antral hypertrophy and prepyloric stenosis has not previously been described.展开更多
