Dark photons have been well motivated as strong candidates for dark force carriers and light dark matter in the sub-GeV mass range.Compared with collider experiments,fixed-target experiments provide a complementary ap...Dark photons have been well motivated as strong candidates for dark force carriers and light dark matter in the sub-GeV mass range.Compared with collider experiments,fixed-target experiments provide a complementary approach to searching for dark photons,particularly in the lower mass range.We have studied the physics potential of the electron-on-target experiment based on the Shanghai SHINE facility,which provides 10 MHz single electron beam at 8 GeV energy.This analysis focuses on dark photons being produced via electron and nucleon interaction and then decays to dark matter candidates,which escape detection as missing momentum in the detector.This experiment takes advantage of using missing momentum to enhance signal versus background separation power.In this study,signal samples as a function of dark photon mass and an inclusive background sample with 2.5 billion events are simulated with GEANT4.For better background estimates,major rare background processes have also been simulated.This paper presents the experiment and detector design,signal and background simulations,analysis strategy,and the prospective study of the experiment sensitivity.With 9×10^(14) electron-on-target events(about three years running),this experiment is expected to rule out most of the sensitive regions predicted by popular dark photon models.展开更多
Hercules A(Her A)is one of a rare class of dying and transition-type objects,which has a pair of giant,powerful radio lobes and a weak radio core.We reduce and analyze the radio data of Her A that were observed by the...Hercules A(Her A)is one of a rare class of dying and transition-type objects,which has a pair of giant,powerful radio lobes and a weak radio core.We reduce and analyze the radio data of Her A that were observed by the Expanded Very Large Array(EVLA)during 2010-2011 at C band.The intensity distribution is very smooth along the edge of the lobe front and the intensity also sharply decreases at the edge,which supports that magnetic fields may play an important role in radio lobes.The spectrum of the weak core is very steep and the core flux becomes weaker by about ten percent when compared to what was observed twenty years ago,which suggest that the central engine is still dying quickly.Her A deviates a lot from the relation between[O III]luminosity and low-frequency 178 MHz luminosity(LO III-L178 MHz)as defined by other FR I/II sources.However,when only radio core emission is considered,it roughly follows an LO III-L178 MHzcorrelation.This result supports that the black-hole accretion and large-scale jet in Her A did not evolve simultaneously,and indicates that although the large-scale jet is still powerful,the accretion and inner jet have changed into an inactive state.Based on the estimated Bondi accretion rate,we model the spectrum of Her A with a radiatively inefficient accretion flow and jet model.展开更多

Significantly negative correlations are found between the observational synchrotron peak frequency and the Doppler f...We examine the scenario that the Doppler factor determines the observational differences of blazars. Significantly negative correlations are found between the observational synchrotron peak frequency and the Doppler factor. After correcting the Doppler boosting, the intrinsic peak frequency has a tight linear relation with the Doppler factor. It is interesting that this relation is consistent with the scenario that the black hole mass governs both the bulk Lorentz factor and the synchrotron peak frequency. In addition, the distinction between the kinetic jet powers of BL Lac objects and fiat spectrum radio quasars disappears after the boosting factor δ2 is considered. The negative correlation between the peak frequency and the observational isotropic luminosity, known as the blazar sequence, also disappears after the Doppler boosting is corrected. We also find that the correlation between the Compton dominance and the Doppler factor exists for all types of blazars. Therefore, this correlation is unsuitable for examining the external Compton emission dominance.展开更多
We present our optical multi-color monitoring of the BL Lac object OJ 287 from January 2006to December 2012 in the V,R and I bands.A relatively active state in OJ 287 has been found over all monitored epochs,among whi...We present our optical multi-color monitoring of the BL Lac object OJ 287 from January 2006to December 2012 in the V,R and I bands.A relatively active state in OJ 287 has been found over all monitored epochs,among which the variations of average magnitude in V/R/I bands were measured with ?V=1.956 mag,?R=2.067 mag and ?I=2.115 mag,respectively.No reliable intraday variability is detected,but possible variability is detected on 16 nights.Their relative variation amplitudes fall into the range between 1% and 8%,with the majority between 2% and 4%.No time lags have been detected,but strong correlations exist among light curves in the three wavebands.The bluer-when-brighter trend is dominant over intraday timescales,which supports the shock-in-jet model.When combining with additional V/R band data obtained from SMARTS and the Steward Observatory,we also find a bluer-when-brighter trend over a long-term timescale.Some possible periods of 513,176,36,30,26,17 and 14 d are found in all time-series data sets from 2006 to 2017.Possible explanations about these periods are given.展开更多
BACKGROUND Hem-o-Lok clip(HOLC)has been widely used in laparoscopic surgery due to its ease of application and secure clamping,though the rare complications associated with this technique should not be ignored.The rar...BACKGROUND Hem-o-Lok clip(HOLC)has been widely used in laparoscopic surgery due to its ease of application and secure clamping,though the rare complications associated with this technique should not be ignored.The rare complications of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy consist of the clip migrating into the renal pelvis and acting as a nidus for stone formation.CASE SUMMARY The case described here involved a 63-year-old woman who was found with stones in the right kidney and upper ureter during a recent reexamination following laparoscopic partial nephrectomy.We performed percutaneous nephrolithotomy for her,but during the operation,it was found that the center of the stone within the kidney was a HOLC,which was removed with forceps.For this reason,we speculate that the HOLC,which was employed to halt tumor wound bleeding,spontaneously drifted into the renal pelvis and formed kidney stones,with the clip being initially misdiagnosed as a kidney stone.CONCLUSION By reviewing related case reports,we conclude that in order to prevent complications related to HOLC,loose clips should be actively searched for and retrieved from the wound during urinary tract surgery,while the deployment of clips in close proximity of anastomotic stoma of collecting systems should be avoided.展开更多
The biomedical co-continuous(β-TCP+MgO)/Zn-Mg composite was fabricated by infiltrating Zn-Mg alloy into porousβ-TCP+MgO using suction exsorption technique.The microstructure,mechanical properties and corrosion behav...The biomedical co-continuous(β-TCP+MgO)/Zn-Mg composite was fabricated by infiltrating Zn-Mg alloy into porousβ-TCP+MgO using suction exsorption technique.The microstructure,mechanical properties and corrosion behaviors of the composite were evaluated by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),mechanical testing,electrochemical and immersion test.It was found that the molten Zn-Mg alloy had infiltrated not only into the pores but also into the struts of the porousβ-TCP+MgO scaffold to form a compact composite.The Zn-Mg alloy contacted to theβ-TCP+MgO scaffold closely,and no reaction layer can be found between the alloy and the scaffold.The compressive strength of the composite was as high as244MPa,which was about1000times higher than that of the original porousβ-TCP+MgO scaffold and2/3of the strength of the Zn-Mg bulk alloy.The electrochemical and immersion tests in simulated body fluid(SBF)solution indicated that the corrosion resistance of the composite was better than that of the Zn-Mg bulk alloy.The corrosion products on the composite surface were mainly Zn(OH)2.Appropriate mechanical and corrosion properties indicated that the(β-TCP+MgO)/Zn?Mg composite fabricated by suction exsorption would be a very promising candidate for bone substitute.展开更多
We collect the second Large Area Telescope AGN catalog (2LAC) and Monitor of Jets in AGN with VLBA Equipment (MOJAVE) quasi-simultaneous data to investigate the radio-γ connection of blazars. The cross sample con...We collect the second Large Area Telescope AGN catalog (2LAC) and Monitor of Jets in AGN with VLBA Equipment (MOJAVE) quasi-simultaneous data to investigate the radio-γ connection of blazars. The cross sample contains 166 sources. The statistical analysis based on this sample confirms positive correlations between these two bands, but the correlations become weaker as the γ-ray energy increases. The statistical results between various parameters show negative correla- tions of γ-ray photon spectral index with γ-ray loudness for both Flat Spectrum Radio Quasars (FSRQs) and BL Lacertae objects, positive correlations of γ-ray variability index with the γ-ray loudness for FSRQs, a negative correlation of the γ-ray variabil- ity index with the γ-ray photon spectral index for FSRQs, and negative correlations of γ-ray photon spectral index with γ-ray luminosity for FSRQs. These results suggest that the γ-ray variability may be due to changes inside the γ-ray emission region like the injected power, rather than changes in the photon density of the external radiation fields, and the variability amplitude tends to be larger as the γ-rays are closer to the high energy peak of the spectral energy distribution (SED). No correlation of variabil- ity index found for BL Lacertae objects implies that variability behavior may differ below and above the peak energy.展开更多

We simulated the R-band contribution of the host galaxy of TeV γ-ray BL Lac object Mrk 501 in different aperture sizes and seeing conditions. An intensive set of observations was acquired with the 1.02m optical teles...We simulated the R-band contribution of the host galaxy of TeV γ-ray BL Lac object Mrk 501 in different aperture sizes and seeing conditions. An intensive set of observations was acquired with the 1.02m optical telescope, managed by Yunnan Observatories, from 2010 May 15 to 18. Based on the host subtraction data usually used in the literature, the subtraction of host galaxy contamination results in significant seeing-brightness correlations. These correlations would lead to illusive large amplitude variations at short timescales, which will mask the intrinsic microvariability, thus giving rise to difficulty in detecting the intrinsic microvariability. Both aperture size and seeing condition influence the flux measurements, but the aperture size impacts the result more significantly. Based on the parameters of an elliptical galaxy provided in the literature, we simulated the host contributions of Mrk 501 in different aperture sizes and seeing conditions. Our simulation data of the host galaxy obviously weaken these significant seeing-brightness correlations for the host-subtracted brightness of Mrk 501, and can help us discover the intrinsic short timescale microvariability. The pure nuclear flux is -8.0 mJy in the R band, i.e., the AGN has a magnitude of R - 13.96 mag.展开更多

文摘目的:对昼夜节律类型量表(Circadian Type Inventory, CTI)进行翻译,并检验其信度和效度。方法:对725名护士进行CTI中文版施测,采用Epworth嗜睡量表(ESS)、Chalder疲劳量表(CFS)及睡眠障碍问卷作为预测效度的效标。结果:探索性因子分析得到灵活性/刚性和困倦/活力两个因子,与英文版量表一致,累计解释量表总方差的48.99%;验证性因子分析表明模型拟合良好(χ~2/df=2.503,CFI=0.939,TLI=0.922,NFI=0.903,IFI=0.939,RMSEA=0.064)。纵向测量等值性检验表明该量表具有跨时间的测量不变性。预测效度检验说明该量表能预测之后的嗜睡、疲乏、失眠等症状。CTI量表总分及其分量表的内部一致性信度在0.60-0.80之间,两周重测信度在0.64-0.73之间。结论:中文版的昼夜节律类型量表在中国倒班护士群体中具有良好的信效度,适宜作为评估个体是否适应倒班工作的有效工具。
文摘目的:对睡眠担忧量表(Anxiety and Preoccupation about Sleep Questionnaire, APSQ)进行翻译,并检验其信度和效度。方法:对650名倒班护士进行APSQ中文版施测。采用匹兹堡睡眠质量指数问卷、Epworth嗜睡量表、抑郁症状筛查量表、Chalder疲劳量表和压力感知量表检验效标关联效度。间隔4周后,随机选取65名护士进行APSQ重测,以检验其重测信度。结果:探索性因素分析和验证性因素分析的结果支持APSQ的单因子模型。APSQ的内部一致性系数、分半信度和重测信度分别为0.88、0.92和0.73。APSQ与睡眠问题、嗜睡、抑郁、疲乏感和压力感知存在显著的正相关(0.41~0.62)。结论:中文版睡眠担忧量表的信效度符合心理测量学标准,可应用于倒班护士睡眠障碍的相关研究。
