Research on a single cell Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chamber (MRPC) was carried out for the Time Of Flight detector (TOF) R and D of the STAR experi- ment. The property of the single chamber was tested with the test beam facility T10 at CERN in Geneva. The MRPC was scanned with the test beam to get the efficiency and time resolution at different position of the active area. The HV plateau was also measured. The time resolution is 65 ps which satisfies the requirement of STAR. The working mechanism of the MRPC is also explained. 展开更多

Due to the current trend towards lightweight design in automotive industry,hollow stepped gear shafts for automobile and its radial forging process are widely investigated.Utilizing coupled finite element thermo-mechanical model,radial forging process of a hollow stepped gear shaft for automobile was simulated.The optimal combination of three process parameters including initial temperature,rotation rate and radial reduction was also selected using orthogonal design method.To examine the strain inhomogeneity of the forging workpiece,the strain inhomogeneity factor was introduced.The results reveal that the maximum effective strain and the minimum effective strain appeared in the outermost and innermost zones of different cross sections for the hollow stepped gear shaft,respectively.Optimal forging parameters are determined as a combination of initial temperature of 780°C,rotation rate of 21°/stroke and radial reduction of 3 mm. 展开更多

The position dependence of the variances of PSF is presented, and theacceptance for the 140 kev gamma rays is explored. The performance of gamma camera with NaI(Tl) array coupled with position sensitive photomultiplier tube (PSPMT) R2486 has been studied. The pixel size of NaI(Tl) crystal is 2mm×2mm and the overall dimension of the array is 48.2mm×48.2mm×5mm. There are 484 pixels in a 22×22 matrix. Because each pixel can produce a much focused light spot and restrict the spread of photons, position resolution of the gamma camera is mainly determined by pixel size. It is shown that crystal array pixel can reduce shrinkage effect and improve intrinsic position resolution greatly via restricting the spread of photons. Experimental results demonstrate that its position resolution and linearity are much improved comparing with the gamma camera using planar crystals coupled with PSPMT. 展开更多

Emission spectra,longitudinal transmission and light output for the Sb-doped and Y-doped PbWO_(4) crystals are presented.Scintillation decay kinetics has been measured by using gate integration and single photon counting method with blue and green filters.Radiation hardness has also been measured by using ^(60)Coγ-ray irradiation under different dose rates and different dose rate profiles.The light yield and radiation hardness of the Sb-doped and Y-doped PbWO_(4) crystals are improved as compared to the undoped crystals and are suitable for the requirements of compact muon solenoid. 展开更多

The aging test of multigap resistive chamber (MRPC) was carried out under conditions of irradiation from a 137Cs γ source facility. The total charge induced at the anode or at the cathode of the MRPC module was about 29 mC. The gamma dose rate was 10-2 Gy·h-1, and the total accumulative radiation dose was 4.3 Gy. After irradiation, there was an obvious degradation in the properties of the MRPC module. 展开更多

煤制替代天然气甲烷化反应器研究与开发

甲烷化反应器是煤制SNG路线关键设备之一。通过深入分析甲烷化反应特点,发现三级串并联工艺能够显著降低反应器床层温升,建立了拟均相反应器数学模型,优化了工艺条件。研究结果表明,优选的合成气进口温度563.15K、压力3MPa;原料气中CH_... 甲烷化反应器是煤制SNG路线关键设备之一。通过深入分析甲烷化反应特点,发现三级串并联工艺能够显著降低反应器床层温升,建立了拟均相反应器数学模型,优化了工艺条件。研究结果表明,优选的合成气进口温度563.15K、压力3MPa;原料气中CH_4含量越高,热点值越低;原料气流量小于GHSV=24090h^(-1)时,床层温度都能到达热点值904K。基于以上研究,提出了绝热和等温两种微反应通道甲烷化反应器,该反应器能够克服传统甲烷化反应器中存在传热、传质效率低、压降大、使用寿命短等问题,且无明显放大效应,能够满足反应器不断大型化的发展需求,具有一定的先进性。 展开更多
