Sorghum is well known for its strong resistance to abiotic stress and wide adaptability, and salt tolerance is one of its main characteristics. Increasing sorghum planting acreage on saline-alkalien land is one way to effectively use this kind of marginal soil. In this paper, domestic and overseas research on plant tolerance to soil salinity and alkalinity in sorghum, including salt-tolerant genetics and breeding, physiology, cultivation, and identification of tolerant germplasms, are reviewed. Suggestions for further studies on salinity and alkalinity tolerance in sorghum are given, and the prospects for sorghum production in saline-alkalien land are discussed.展开更多
As shallow resources are increasingly depleted,the mechanics'theory and testing technology of deep insitu rock has become urgent.Traditional coring technologies obtain rock samples without retaining the in-situ en...As shallow resources are increasingly depleted,the mechanics'theory and testing technology of deep insitu rock has become urgent.Traditional coring technologies obtain rock samples without retaining the in-situ environmental conditions,leading to distortion of the measured parameters.Herein,a coring and testing systems retaining in-situ geological conditions is presented:the coring system that obtains in-situ rock samples,and the transfer and testing system that stores and analyzes the rocks under a reconstructed environment.The ICP-Coring system mainly consists of the pressure controller,active insulated core reactor and insulation layer and sealing film.The ultimate bearing strength of 100 MPa for pressurepreservation,temperature control accuracy of 0.97%for temperature-retained are realized.CH_(4)and CO permeability of the optimized sealing film are as low as 3.85 and 0.33 ppm/min.The average tensile elongation of the film is 152.4%and the light transmittance is reduced to 0%.Additionally,the pressure and steady-state temperature accuracy for reconstructing the in-situ environment of transfer and storage system up to 1%and±0.2 is achieved.The error recorded of the noncontact sensor ring made of lowdensity polymer is less than 6%than that of the contact test.The system can provide technical support for the deep in-situ rock mechanics research,improving deep resource acquisition capabilities and further clarifying deep-earth processes.展开更多

Based on element geochemical studies of the main Permian exploitable coal measure strata in Western Guizhou, the element geochemical distribution characteristics of the main exploitable coal measures were revealed in ...Based on element geochemical studies of the main Permian exploitable coal measure strata in Western Guizhou, the element geochemical distribution characteristics of the main exploitable coal measures were revealed in the regions of Dafang, Qianxi, Weining, Hezhang, Zhijin, etc., of Guizhou Province, and the results show that their element contents are mainly affected by terrestrial material supply. Coal measures formed in the delta plain environment where sufficient terrestrial materials are supplied contain relatively abundant trace elements and rare-earth elements, whereas those formed in the tidal-fiat environment influenced greatly by seawater have relatively low contents of trace elements and rare-earth elements, mainly con- trolled by the geological fact that basalts the parent rocks from source regions contain high trace elements and rare-earth elements. In addition, coal measures affected by later hydrothermal activities and fault tectonics contain a large amount of harmful elements. According to the rules of distribution of elements in coal measures, a new idea was put forward to classify coal-forming environments by using the geochemical composition characteristics, which is of great significance in dissolving the problem of whether coal measures were fbrmed either in delta environments or in tidal-flat environments in Western Gui- zhou. At the same time, the rules of distribution of elements in the main exploitable coal measures in Western Guizhou were fully understood, which is of direct significance in utilizing coal resources on the basis of classification of coals, as well as in developing the coal chemical industry.展开更多

However, studies of the IL-33/ST2 pathway in HBV-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(HBV-ACLF) are lacking. The present study aimed to determine the prognostic role of serum IL-33/soluble ST2(s ST2) in HBV-ACLF.METHODS: Serum levels of IL-33 and sS T2 in healthy controls(HC, n=18), chronic hepatitis B(CHB, n=27) and HBV-ACLF(n=51) patients at the 1st and 4th week after enrollment were detected using ELISA, and clinical data were collected. The follow-up of HBV-ACLF patients lasted for 6 months at least.RESULTS: There was no significant difference of serum IL-33 level among HC, CHB and HBV-ACLF patients at week 1.However, serum s ST2 level differed significantly among the three groups: highest in the HBV-ACLF group, moderate in the CHB group and lowest in the HC group. There was a reverse correlation between serum s ST2 level and the survival of HBV-ACLF patients. The level of serum s ST2 in HBV-ACLF survivors was significantly declined from week 1 to week 4 following the treatment, whereas that in HBV-ACLF nonsurvivors remained at a high level during the same period. Furthermore, serum sS T2 level was significantly correlated with laboratory parameters and the most updated prognostic scores(CLIF-C OF score, CLIF-C ACLF score and ACLF grades). Thereceiver operating characteristics curves demonstrated that serum sS T2 level was a good diagnostic marker for predicting the 6-month mortality in HBV-ACLF patients, comparable to the most updated prognostic scores. Serum sS T2 cut-off points for predicting prognosis in HBV-ACLF patients were 76 ng/mL at week 1 or 53 ng/mL at week 4, respectively. HBV-ACLF patients with serum sS T2 level above the cut-off point often had a worse prognosis than those below the cut-off point.CONCLUSION: Serum s ST2 may act as a promising biomarker to assess severity and predict prognosis of patients with HBV-ACLF and help展开更多
In the northwestern margin of the Youjiang basin(NWYB)in SW China,many Carlin-like gold deposits are highly antimony(Sb)-rich,and many vein-type Sb deposits contain much Au.These deposits have similar ages,host rocks,...In the northwestern margin of the Youjiang basin(NWYB)in SW China,many Carlin-like gold deposits are highly antimony(Sb)-rich,and many vein-type Sb deposits contain much Au.These deposits have similar ages,host rocks,ore-forming temperatures,ore-related alterations and ore mineral assemblages,but the Au and Sb metallogenic relations and their ore-forming process remain enigmatic.Here we investigate the large Qinglong Sb deposit in the NWYB,which has extensive sub-economic Au mineralization,and present a new metallogenic model based on in-situ trace elements(EPMA and LA-ICP-MS)and sulfur isotopes(NanoSIMS and fs-LA-MC-ICPMS)of the ore sulfides.At Qinglong,economic Sb ores contain coarse-grained stibnite,jasperoid quartz and fluorite,whilst the sub-economic Au–Sb ores comprise dominantly veined quartz,arsenian pyrite and fine-grained stibnite.Three generations of ore-related pyrite(Py1,Py2 and Py3)and two generations of stibnite(Stb1 and Stb2)are identified based on their texture,chemistry,and sulfur isotopes.The pre-ore Py1 is characterized by the lower ore element(Au,As,Sb,Cu and Ag)contents(mostly below the LA-ICP-MS detection limit)and Co/Ni ratios(average 0.31)than the ore-stage pyrites(Py2 and Py3),implying a sedimentary/diagenetic origin.The Py2 and Py3 have elevated ore element abundance(maximum As=6500 ppm,Au=22 ppm,Sb=6300 ppm,Cu=951 ppm,Ag=77 ppm)and Co/Ni ratios(average 1.84),and have positive As vs.Au–Sb–Cu–Ag correlations.Early-ore Stb1 has lower As(0.12–0.30 wt.%)than late-ore Stb2(0.91–1.20 wt.%).These features show that the progressive As enrichment in ore sulfides is accompanied by increasing Au,Sb,Cu and Ag with the hydrothermal evolution,thereby making As a good proxy for Au.As-rich,As-poor and As-free zones are identified via NanoSIMS mapping of the Au-bearing pyrite.The As-rich zones in the Qinglong Au-bearing pyrites(Py2 and Py3)and ore stibnites(Stb1 and Stb2)have narrowδ^(34)SH_(2)S ranges(-8.9‰to +4.1‰,average-3.1‰)and-2.9‰to +6.9‰,average + 1.3‰),respectively,indi展开更多
Starch is the most important component in endosperm of sorghum grain.Usually,two types of starch are present:amylose(AM)and amylopectin(AP).The levels of AM and AP contents play a significant role in the appearance,st...Starch is the most important component in endosperm of sorghum grain.Usually,two types of starch are present:amylose(AM)and amylopectin(AP).The levels of AM and AP contents play a significant role in the appearance,structure,and quality of sorghum grains and in marketing applications.In the present study,a panel of 634 sorghum(Sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench)accessions were evaluated for starch,AM,and AP contents of grain,which included a mini core collection of 242 accessions from the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics(ICRISAT)in India,and 252 landraces and 140 cultivars from China.The average starch content was 67.64%and the average AM and AP contents were 20.19 and 79.81%,respectively.We developed a total of 260000 high-confidence single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers in the panel of 634 accessions of S.bicolor using specific locus amplified fragment sequencing(SLAF-seq).We performed genome-wide association studies(GWAS)of starch,AM,and AM/AP of grain and SNP markers based on a mixed linear model(MLM).In total,70 significant association signals were detected for starch,AM,and AM/AP ratio of grain with P<4.452×10^-7,of which 10 SNPs were identified with significant starch,51 SNPs were associated with AM,and nine SNPs were associated with the AM/AP ratio.The Gene Ontology(GO)analysis identified 12 candidate genes at five QTLs associated with starch metabolism within the 200-kb intervals,located on chromosomes 1,5,6,and 9.Of these genes,Sobic.006G036500.1 encodes peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans-isomerase CYP38 responsible for hexose monophosphate shunt(HMS)and Sobic.009G071800 encodes 6-phospho-fructokinase(PFK),which is involved in the embden-meyerhof pathway(EMP).Kompetitive allele specific PCR(KASP)markers were developed to validate the GWAS results.The C allele is correlated with a high starch content,while the T allele is linked with a low level of starch content,and provides reliable haplotypes for MAS in sorghum quality improvement.展开更多

Background:Infections still represent the main factors influencing morbidity and mortality following liver transplantation.This study aimed to evaluate the incidence and risk factors for infection and survival after l...Background:Infections still represent the main factors influencing morbidity and mortality following liver transplantation.This study aimed to evaluate the incidence and risk factors for infection and survival after liver transplantation.Methods:We retrospectively examined medical records in 210 liver recipients who underwent liver transplantation between April 2015 and October 2017 in our hospital.Clinical manifestations and results of pathogen detection test were used to define infection.We analyzed the prevalence,risk factors and prognosis of patients with infection.Results:The median follow-up was 214 days;the incidence of infection after liver transplantation was 46.7%(n=98)which included pneumonia(43.4%),biliary tract infection(21.9%),peritonitis(21.4%)and bloodstream infection(7.6%).Among the pathogens in pneumonia,the most frequently isolated was Acinetobacter baumanii(23.5%)and Klebsiella pneumoniae(21.2%).Model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)score(OR=1.083,95%CI:1.045–1.123;P<0.001),biliary complication(OR=4.725,95%CI:1.119–19.947;P=0.035)and duration of drainage tube(OR=1.040,95%CI:1.007–1.074;P=0.017)were independent risk factors for posttransplant infection.All-cause mortality was 11.0%(n=23).The prognostic factors for postoperative infection in liver recipients were prior-transplant infection,especially pneumonia within 2 weeks before transplantation.Kaplan-Meier curves of survival showed that recipients within 2 weeks prior infection had a significantly lower cumulative survival rate compared with those without infection(65.2%vs.90.0%;hazard ratio:4.480;P<0.001).Conclusions:Infection,especially pneumonia within 2 weeks before transplantation,complication with impaired renal function and MELD score after 7 days of transplantation was an independent prognostic factor for postoperative infection in liver transplant recipients.展开更多

In the production point of view, we suggested that, for the breeding of super-high-yield japonica rice, the erect panicle types with more LVB numbers in the panicle neck and superior upper grains in the secondary branches would be the key factors. This paper proposes a new kind of fishway called the "T shape fishway", and studies it by using both numerical simulations and physical experimental methods with the aim to design a fishway in China for migratory fish with swimming and jumping capability much poorer, such as schizothorax davidi and schizothorax prenanti, as compared with migratory fish in other places of the world, like trout and salmon. It is indicated that the range of velocity in each regular pool of the T shape fishway is from 0.42 m/s to 1.22 m/s when the flow discharge Q is 350 L/s, and there are no large vortex zones found there. This study shows that the T shape fishway can meet the requirements of these migratory fish quite well in terms of velocity and flow patterns in China.展开更多
In this study,we analyze how a backlight’s peak wavelength,full-width at half-maximum(FWHM),and color filters affect the color gamut of a liquid crystal display(LCD)device and establish a theoretical limit,even if th...In this study,we analyze how a backlight’s peak wavelength,full-width at half-maximum(FWHM),and color filters affect the color gamut of a liquid crystal display(LCD)device and establish a theoretical limit,even if the FWHM approaches 1 nm.To overcome this limit,we propose a new backlight system incorporating a functional reflective polarizer and a patterned half-wave plate to decouple the polarization states of the blue light and the green/red lights.As a result,the crosstalk between three primary colors is greatly suppressed,and the color gamut is significantly widened.In the experiment,we prepare a white-light source using a blue light-emitting diode(LED)to pump green perovskite polymer film and red quantum dots and demonstrate an exceedingly large color gamut(95.8%Rec.2020 in Commission internationale de l'éclairage(CIE)1931 color space and 97.3%Rec.2020 in CIE 1976 color space)with commercial high-efficiency color filters.These results are beyond the color gamut limit achievable by a conventional LCD.Our design works equally well for other light sources,such as a 2-phosphorconverted white LED.展开更多
A new alkaline pressure oxidative leaching process(with NaNO3 as the oxidant and NaOH as the alkaline reagent)is proposed herein to remove arsenic,antimony,and lead from bismuth-rich and arsenic-rich lead anode slime ...A new alkaline pressure oxidative leaching process(with NaNO3 as the oxidant and NaOH as the alkaline reagent)is proposed herein to remove arsenic,antimony,and lead from bismuth-rich and arsenic-rich lead anode slime for bismuth,gold,and silver enrichment.The effects of the temperature,liquid-to-solid ratio,leaching time,and reagent concentration on the leaching ratios of arsenic,antimony,and lead were investigated to identify the optimum leaching conditions.The experimental results under optimized conditions indicate that the average leaching ratios of arsenic,antimony and lead are 95.36%,79.98%,63.08%,respectively.X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that the leaching residue is composed of Bi,Bi2O3,Pb2Sb2O7,and trace amounts of NaSb(OH)6.Arsenic,antimony,and lead are thus separated from lead anode slime as Na3AsO4·10H2O and Pb2Sb2O7.Scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectrometry imaging revealed that the samples undergo appreciable changes in their surface morphology during leaching and that the majority of arsenic,lead,and antimony is removed.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was used to demonstrate the variation in the valence states of the arsenic,lead,and antimony.The Pb(IV)and Sb(V)content was found to increase substantially with the addition of NaNO3.展开更多
Objective To assess long-term survival and late cardiovascular events in patients with atrial myxoma after surgical intervention. Methods Retrospective analysis of 403 patients undergoing resection of atrial myxoma fr...Objective To assess long-term survival and late cardiovascular events in patients with atrial myxoma after surgical intervention. Methods Retrospective analysis of 403 patients undergoing resection of atrial myxoma from January 2002 to December 2016 was conducted with a median follow-up period of 4.5 (range: 0.5?15) years. Results The cross-clamp time and cardiopulmonary bypass times were 41.1 ± 21.4 and 65.2 ± 27.3 min,respectively. A diagnosis of myxoma was histopathologically confirmed in all cases. The early in-hospital mortality rate was 0.7%(n = 3). During the follow-up period,tumor recurrence occurred in six patients and cerebral infarction in nine. There were 48 (11.9%) patients with late onset atrial fibrillation (AF). By multivariate analysis,age (HR = 1.05,95% CI: 1.02–1.09,P < 0.001),left atrial diameter (HR = 1.23,95% CI: 1.08–1.36,P = 0.012),and mitral valve surgery (HR = 1.17,95% CI: 1.05–1.29,P = 0.027) were independent predictors of late onset AF. Twenty-one (5.2%) patients died during the follow-up period. Advanced age (HR = 1.07,95% CI: 1.04–1.10,P = 0.003) and multiple surgical procedures (HR = 1.18,95% CI: 1.06–1.29,P = 0.012) were significantly associated with overall mortality. Conclusions Atrial myxoma can be resected with good long-term survival. Late onset AF is common after surgery in patients with atrial myxoma. Advanced age,left atrial diameter,and mitral valve surgery were independent predictors of outcomes.展开更多

The enzyme shares no structure similarities with acid or neutral sphingomyelinase but belongs to ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase(NPP) family and therefore is also called NPP7 nowadays. The enzyme is expressed in the intestinal mucosa in many species and additionally in human liver. The enzyme in the intestinal tract has been extensively studied but not that in human liver. Studies on intestinal alkaline sphingomyelinase show that it inhibits colonic tumorigenesis and inflammation, hydrolyses dietary sphingomyelin, and stimulates cholesterol absorption. The review aims to summarize the current knowledge on liver alkaline sphingomyelinase in human and strengthen the necessity for close study on this unique human enzyme in hepatobiliary diseases.展开更多

文摘Metabolic disease,including diabetes mellitus,hypertension,dyslipidemia,obesity,and hyperuricemia,is a common complication after liver transplantation and a risk factor for cardiovascular disease and death.The development of metabolic disease is closely related to the side effects of immunosuppressants.Therefore,optimization of the immunosuppressive regimen is very important for the prevention and treatment of metabolic disease.The Chinese Society of Organ Transplantation has developed an expert consensus on the management of metabolic diseases in Chinese liver transplant recipients based on recent studies.Emphasis is placed on the risk factors of metabolic diseases,the effect of immunosuppressants on metabolic disease,and the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases.
文摘Based on element geochemical studies of the main Permian exploitable coal measure strata in Western Guizhou, the element geochemical distribution characteristics of the main exploitable coal measures were revealed in the regions of Dafang, Qianxi, Weining, Hezhang, Zhijin, etc., of Guizhou Province, and the results show that their element contents are mainly affected by terrestrial material supply. Coal measures formed in the delta plain environment where sufficient terrestrial materials are supplied contain relatively abundant trace elements and rare-earth elements, whereas those formed in the tidal-fiat environment influenced greatly by seawater have relatively low contents of trace elements and rare-earth elements, mainly con- trolled by the geological fact that basalts the parent rocks from source regions contain high trace elements and rare-earth elements. In addition, coal measures affected by later hydrothermal activities and fault tectonics contain a large amount of harmful elements. According to the rules of distribution of elements in coal measures, a new idea was put forward to classify coal-forming environments by using the geochemical composition characteristics, which is of great significance in dissolving the problem of whether coal measures were fbrmed either in delta environments or in tidal-flat environments in Western Gui- zhou. At the same time, the rules of distribution of elements in the main exploitable coal measures in Western Guizhou were fully understood, which is of direct significance in utilizing coal resources on the basis of classification of coals, as well as in developing the coal chemical industry.

文摘BACKGROUND: The IL-33/ST2 axis is involved in the pathogenesis of many diseases such as autoimmune diseases, cancer,and heart failure. However, studies of the IL-33/ST2 pathway in HBV-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(HBV-ACLF) are lacking. The present study aimed to determine the prognostic role of serum IL-33/soluble ST2(s ST2) in HBV-ACLF.METHODS: Serum levels of IL-33 and sS T2 in healthy controls(HC, n=18), chronic hepatitis B(CHB, n=27) and HBV-ACLF(n=51) patients at the 1st and 4th week after enrollment were detected using ELISA, and clinical data were collected. The follow-up of HBV-ACLF patients lasted for 6 months at least.RESULTS: There was no significant difference of serum IL-33 level among HC, CHB and HBV-ACLF patients at week 1.However, serum s ST2 level differed significantly among the three groups: highest in the HBV-ACLF group, moderate in the CHB group and lowest in the HC group. There was a reverse correlation between serum s ST2 level and the survival of HBV-ACLF patients. The level of serum s ST2 in HBV-ACLF survivors was significantly declined from week 1 to week 4 following the treatment, whereas that in HBV-ACLF nonsurvivors remained at a high level during the same period. Furthermore, serum sS T2 level was significantly correlated with laboratory parameters and the most updated prognostic scores(CLIF-C OF score, CLIF-C ACLF score and ACLF grades). Thereceiver operating characteristics curves demonstrated that serum sS T2 level was a good diagnostic marker for predicting the 6-month mortality in HBV-ACLF patients, comparable to the most updated prognostic scores. Serum sS T2 cut-off points for predicting prognosis in HBV-ACLF patients were 76 ng/mL at week 1 or 53 ng/mL at week 4, respectively. HBV-ACLF patients with serum sS T2 level above the cut-off point often had a worse prognosis than those below the cut-off point.CONCLUSION: Serum s ST2 may act as a promising biomarker to assess severity and predict prognosis of patients with HBV-ACLF and help

文摘In the northwestern margin of the Youjiang basin(NWYB)in SW China,many Carlin-like gold deposits are highly antimony(Sb)-rich,and many vein-type Sb deposits contain much Au.These deposits have similar ages,host rocks,ore-forming temperatures,ore-related alterations and ore mineral assemblages,but the Au and Sb metallogenic relations and their ore-forming process remain enigmatic.Here we investigate the large Qinglong Sb deposit in the NWYB,which has extensive sub-economic Au mineralization,and present a new metallogenic model based on in-situ trace elements(EPMA and LA-ICP-MS)and sulfur isotopes(NanoSIMS and fs-LA-MC-ICPMS)of the ore sulfides.At Qinglong,economic Sb ores contain coarse-grained stibnite,jasperoid quartz and fluorite,whilst the sub-economic Au–Sb ores comprise dominantly veined quartz,arsenian pyrite and fine-grained stibnite.Three generations of ore-related pyrite(Py1,Py2 and Py3)and two generations of stibnite(Stb1 and Stb2)are identified based on their texture,chemistry,and sulfur isotopes.The pre-ore Py1 is characterized by the lower ore element(Au,As,Sb,Cu and Ag)contents(mostly below the LA-ICP-MS detection limit)and Co/Ni ratios(average 0.31)than the ore-stage pyrites(Py2 and Py3),implying a sedimentary/diagenetic origin.The Py2 and Py3 have elevated ore element abundance(maximum As=6500 ppm,Au=22 ppm,Sb=6300 ppm,Cu=951 ppm,Ag=77 ppm)and Co/Ni ratios(average 1.84),and have positive As vs.Au–Sb–Cu–Ag correlations.Early-ore Stb1 has lower As(0.12–0.30 wt.%)than late-ore Stb2(0.91–1.20 wt.%).These features show that the progressive As enrichment in ore sulfides is accompanied by increasing Au,Sb,Cu and Ag with the hydrothermal evolution,thereby making As a good proxy for Au.As-rich,As-poor and As-free zones are identified via NanoSIMS mapping of the Au-bearing pyrite.The As-rich zones in the Qinglong Au-bearing pyrites(Py2 and Py3)and ore stibnites(Stb1 and Stb2)have narrowδ^(34)SH_(2)S ranges(-8.9‰to +4.1‰,average-3.1‰)and-2.9‰to +6.9‰,average + 1.3‰),respectively,indi

文摘Starch is the most important component in endosperm of sorghum grain.Usually,two types of starch are present:amylose(AM)and amylopectin(AP).The levels of AM and AP contents play a significant role in the appearance,structure,and quality of sorghum grains and in marketing applications.In the present study,a panel of 634 sorghum(Sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench)accessions were evaluated for starch,AM,and AP contents of grain,which included a mini core collection of 242 accessions from the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics(ICRISAT)in India,and 252 landraces and 140 cultivars from China.The average starch content was 67.64%and the average AM and AP contents were 20.19 and 79.81%,respectively.We developed a total of 260000 high-confidence single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers in the panel of 634 accessions of S.bicolor using specific locus amplified fragment sequencing(SLAF-seq).We performed genome-wide association studies(GWAS)of starch,AM,and AM/AP of grain and SNP markers based on a mixed linear model(MLM).In total,70 significant association signals were detected for starch,AM,and AM/AP ratio of grain with P<4.452×10^-7,of which 10 SNPs were identified with significant starch,51 SNPs were associated with AM,and nine SNPs were associated with the AM/AP ratio.The Gene Ontology(GO)analysis identified 12 candidate genes at five QTLs associated with starch metabolism within the 200-kb intervals,located on chromosomes 1,5,6,and 9.Of these genes,Sobic.006G036500.1 encodes peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans-isomerase CYP38 responsible for hexose monophosphate shunt(HMS)and Sobic.009G071800 encodes 6-phospho-fructokinase(PFK),which is involved in the embden-meyerhof pathway(EMP).Kompetitive allele specific PCR(KASP)markers were developed to validate the GWAS results.The C allele is correlated with a high starch content,while the T allele is linked with a low level of starch content,and provides reliable haplotypes for MAS in sorghum quality improvement.
文摘Progressive motor deficits are relatively common in acute pontine infarction and frequently associated with increased functional disability. However, the factors that affect the progression of clinical motor weakness are largely unknown. Previous studies have suggested that pontine infarctions are caused mainly by basilar artery stenosis and penetrating artery disease. Recently, lower pons lesions in patients with acute pontine infarctions have been reported to be related to progressive motor deficits, and ensuing that damage to the corticospinal tracts may be respon- sible for the worsening of neurological symptoms. Here, we review studies on motor weakness progression in pontine infarction and discuss the mechanisms that may underlie the neurologic worsening.

文摘Background:Infections still represent the main factors influencing morbidity and mortality following liver transplantation.This study aimed to evaluate the incidence and risk factors for infection and survival after liver transplantation.Methods:We retrospectively examined medical records in 210 liver recipients who underwent liver transplantation between April 2015 and October 2017 in our hospital.Clinical manifestations and results of pathogen detection test were used to define infection.We analyzed the prevalence,risk factors and prognosis of patients with infection.Results:The median follow-up was 214 days;the incidence of infection after liver transplantation was 46.7%(n=98)which included pneumonia(43.4%),biliary tract infection(21.9%),peritonitis(21.4%)and bloodstream infection(7.6%).Among the pathogens in pneumonia,the most frequently isolated was Acinetobacter baumanii(23.5%)and Klebsiella pneumoniae(21.2%).Model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)score(OR=1.083,95%CI:1.045–1.123;P<0.001),biliary complication(OR=4.725,95%CI:1.119–19.947;P=0.035)and duration of drainage tube(OR=1.040,95%CI:1.007–1.074;P=0.017)were independent risk factors for posttransplant infection.All-cause mortality was 11.0%(n=23).The prognostic factors for postoperative infection in liver recipients were prior-transplant infection,especially pneumonia within 2 weeks before transplantation.Kaplan-Meier curves of survival showed that recipients within 2 weeks prior infection had a significantly lower cumulative survival rate compared with those without infection(65.2%vs.90.0%;hazard ratio:4.480;P<0.001).Conclusions:Infection,especially pneumonia within 2 weeks before transplantation,complication with impaired renal function and MELD score after 7 days of transplantation was an independent prognostic factor for postoperative infection in liver transplant recipients.

文摘The historical changes in rice yields across China were explored. The physiological mechanisms and genetic basis of the erect and large panicle super-high-yield plant type model for breeding japonica super rice were analyzed mainly on the panicle type, number of large vascular bundles (LVB) in the panicle neck, and the panicle type index (PTI). In the production point of view, we suggested that, for the breeding of super-high-yield japonica rice, the erect panicle types with more LVB numbers in the panicle neck and superior upper grains in the secondary branches would be the key factors. The information has potential significance in the rice breeding and productivity not only in China but also throughout the rice production areas of the world.

文摘While dams cut off the migratory route of fish, and affect their growth and breeding, fishways are built to restore the con- nectivity of rivers and facilitate the life cycle of these migratory fish. This paper proposes a new kind of fishway called the "T shape fishway", and studies it by using both numerical simulations and physical experimental methods with the aim to design a fishway in China for migratory fish with swimming and jumping capability much poorer, such as schizothorax davidi and schizothorax prenanti, as compared with migratory fish in other places of the world, like trout and salmon. It is indicated that the range of velocity in each regular pool of the T shape fishway is from 0.42 m/s to 1.22 m/s when the flow discharge Q is 350 L/s, and there are no large vortex zones found there. This study shows that the T shape fishway can meet the requirements of these migratory fish quite well in terms of velocity and flow patterns in China.

文摘In this study,we analyze how a backlight’s peak wavelength,full-width at half-maximum(FWHM),and color filters affect the color gamut of a liquid crystal display(LCD)device and establish a theoretical limit,even if the FWHM approaches 1 nm.To overcome this limit,we propose a new backlight system incorporating a functional reflective polarizer and a patterned half-wave plate to decouple the polarization states of the blue light and the green/red lights.As a result,the crosstalk between three primary colors is greatly suppressed,and the color gamut is significantly widened.In the experiment,we prepare a white-light source using a blue light-emitting diode(LED)to pump green perovskite polymer film and red quantum dots and demonstrate an exceedingly large color gamut(95.8%Rec.2020 in Commission internationale de l'éclairage(CIE)1931 color space and 97.3%Rec.2020 in CIE 1976 color space)with commercial high-efficiency color filters.These results are beyond the color gamut limit achievable by a conventional LCD.Our design works equally well for other light sources,such as a 2-phosphorconverted white LED.

文摘A new alkaline pressure oxidative leaching process(with NaNO3 as the oxidant and NaOH as the alkaline reagent)is proposed herein to remove arsenic,antimony,and lead from bismuth-rich and arsenic-rich lead anode slime for bismuth,gold,and silver enrichment.The effects of the temperature,liquid-to-solid ratio,leaching time,and reagent concentration on the leaching ratios of arsenic,antimony,and lead were investigated to identify the optimum leaching conditions.The experimental results under optimized conditions indicate that the average leaching ratios of arsenic,antimony and lead are 95.36%,79.98%,63.08%,respectively.X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that the leaching residue is composed of Bi,Bi2O3,Pb2Sb2O7,and trace amounts of NaSb(OH)6.Arsenic,antimony,and lead are thus separated from lead anode slime as Na3AsO4·10H2O and Pb2Sb2O7.Scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectrometry imaging revealed that the samples undergo appreciable changes in their surface morphology during leaching and that the majority of arsenic,lead,and antimony is removed.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was used to demonstrate the variation in the valence states of the arsenic,lead,and antimony.The Pb(IV)and Sb(V)content was found to increase substantially with the addition of NaNO3.

文摘Objective To assess long-term survival and late cardiovascular events in patients with atrial myxoma after surgical intervention. Methods Retrospective analysis of 403 patients undergoing resection of atrial myxoma from January 2002 to December 2016 was conducted with a median follow-up period of 4.5 (range: 0.5?15) years. Results The cross-clamp time and cardiopulmonary bypass times were 41.1 ± 21.4 and 65.2 ± 27.3 min,respectively. A diagnosis of myxoma was histopathologically confirmed in all cases. The early in-hospital mortality rate was 0.7%(n = 3). During the follow-up period,tumor recurrence occurred in six patients and cerebral infarction in nine. There were 48 (11.9%) patients with late onset atrial fibrillation (AF). By multivariate analysis,age (HR = 1.05,95% CI: 1.02–1.09,P < 0.001),left atrial diameter (HR = 1.23,95% CI: 1.08–1.36,P = 0.012),and mitral valve surgery (HR = 1.17,95% CI: 1.05–1.29,P = 0.027) were independent predictors of late onset AF. Twenty-one (5.2%) patients died during the follow-up period. Advanced age (HR = 1.07,95% CI: 1.04–1.10,P = 0.003) and multiple surgical procedures (HR = 1.18,95% CI: 1.06–1.29,P = 0.012) were significantly associated with overall mortality. Conclusions Atrial myxoma can be resected with good long-term survival. Late onset AF is common after surgery in patients with atrial myxoma. Advanced age,left atrial diameter,and mitral valve surgery were independent predictors of outcomes.

文摘In order to illustrate the thermodynamic characteristics of arsenic during alkaline pressure oxidation leaching process oflead anode slime(NaNO3as oxidant;NaOH as alkaline reagent),theφ-pH diagrams of As-Na-H2O,N-H2O,As-N-Na-H2Osystems at ionic mass concentration of0.1mol/kg and temperatures of298,373,423and473K were established according tothermodynamic calculation.The results show that the existence forms of arsenic are associated with pH value,which mainly exists inthe forms of H3AsO4,24H AsO-,24HAsO-,H2AsO2-and As2O3in lower pH region,while it mainly exists in the form of3AsO4-when pH>11.14.High alkali concentration and high temperature are advantageous to the arsenic leaching.The alkaline pressureoxidation leaching experiments display that the tendency of arsenic leaching rate confirms the thermodynamic analysis resultsobtained from theφ-pH diagrams of As-N-Na-H2O system,and the highest leaching rate of arsenic reaches95.85%at453K.

文摘Turbidity currents are flows driven by suspended sediment of flood-induced turbid river water with excess density.Such currents are often the governing factor in reservoir sedimentation by transporting fine materials over long distances and delivering the majority of deposition,which thus reduces the storage capacity.Therefore,the design and operation of a reservoir requires an accurate prediction of its occurrence condition and plunging position,which is the objective of the present study.This article presents a verified algebraic slip mixture model including momentum,continuity and algebraic velocity expressions to simulate 2-D turbidity currents.Test experiments in a multiphase flume were carried out.Reynolds number,sediment concentration and densimetric Froude number were used as parameters in the occurrence condition analysis.The plunging of turbidity currents may produce reflux and backflow due to the diving flow at the surface of the clear water.The similar experimental results were also obtained by PIV measurements

文摘Alkaline sphingomyelinase cleaves phosphocholine from sphingomyelin, platelet-activating factor, lysophosphatidylcholine, and less effectively phosphatidyl-choline. The enzyme shares no structure similarities with acid or neutral sphingomyelinase but belongs to ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase(NPP) family and therefore is also called NPP7 nowadays. The enzyme is expressed in the intestinal mucosa in many species and additionally in human liver. The enzyme in the intestinal tract has been extensively studied but not that in human liver. Studies on intestinal alkaline sphingomyelinase show that it inhibits colonic tumorigenesis and inflammation, hydrolyses dietary sphingomyelin, and stimulates cholesterol absorption. The review aims to summarize the current knowledge on liver alkaline sphingomyelinase in human and strengthen the necessity for close study on this unique human enzyme in hepatobiliary diseases.
