AIM: To investigate the population-based prevalence of fatty liver disease (FLD) and its risk factors in Guangdong Province,China. METHODS: A cross-sectional survey with multiple-stage stratified cluster and random sampling of inhabitants over 7-year-old was performed in 6 urban and rural areas of Guangdong Province,China. Questionnaires,designed by co-working of epidemiologists and hepatologists,included demographic characteristics,current medication use,medical history and health-relevant behaviors,i.e. alcohol consumption,smoking habits,dietary habits and physical activities. Anthropometric measurements,biochemical tests and abdominal ultrasonography were carried out. RESULTS: Among the 3543 subjects,609 (17.2%) were diagnosed having FLD (18.0% males,16.7% females,P > 0.05). Among them,the prevalence of confirmed alcoholic liver disease (ALD),suspected ALD and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) were 0.4%,1.8%,and 15.0%,respectively. The prevalence rate (23.0%) was significantly higher in urban areas than (12.9%) in rural areas. After adjustment for age,gender and residency,the standardized prevalence of FLD in adults was 14.5%. Among them,confirmed ALD,suspected ALD and NAFLD were 0.5%,2.3%,and 11.7%,respectively,in adults and 1.3% (all NAFLD) in children at the age of 7-18 years. The overall prevalence of FLD increased with age in both genders to the peak of 27.4% in the group of subjects at the age of 60-70 years. The prevalence rate was significantly higher in men than in women under the age of 50 years (22.4% vs 7.1%,P < 0.001). However,the opposite phenomenon was found over the age of 50 years (20.6% vs 27.6%,P < 0.05). Multivariate and logistic regression analysis indicated that male gender,urban residency,low education,high blood pressure,body mass index,waist circumference,waist to hip ratio,serum triglyceride and glucose levels were the risk factors for FLD. CONCLUSION: FLD,especially NAFLD,is prevalent in South China. There are many risk factors for FLD. 展开更多

Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is an inflammatory skin disease characterized by chronic recurrent dermatitis with profound itching. Most patients have personal and/or family history of atopic diseases. Several criteria have been proposed for the diagnosis of AD. Although the clinical features of childhood AD have been widely studied, there has been less large-scale study on adult/adolescent AD. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical features of adult/adolescent patients with chronic symmetrical eczemaJAD and to propose Chinese diagnostic criteria for adult/adolescent AD. Methods: A hospital-based study was performed. Forty-two dermatological centers participated in this study. Adult and adolescent patients (12 years and over) with chronic symmetrical eczema or AD were included in this study. Questionnaires were completed by both patients and-investigators. The valid questionnaires were analyzed using EpiData 3.1 and SPSS 17.0 software. Results: A total of 2662 valid questionnaires were collected (1369 male and 1293 female). Of all 2662 patients, 2062 (77.5%) patients had the disease after 12 years old, while only 600 (22.5%) patients had the disease before 12 years old, suggesting late-onset eczema/AD is common. Two thousand one hundred and thirty-nine (80.4%) patients had the disease for more than 6 months. One thousand one hundred and forty-four (43.0%) patients had a personal and/or family history of atopic diseases. One thousand five hundred and forty-eight (58.2%) patients had an elevated total serum IgE and/or eosinophilia and/or positive allergen-specific IgE. Based on these clinical and laboratory features, we proposed Chinese criteria for adult/adolescent AD. Of all 2662 patients, 60.3% were satisfied with our criteria, while only 48.2% satisfied with Hanifin Rajka criteria and 32.7% satisfied with Williams criteria, suggesting a good sensitivity of our criteria in adult/adolescent AD patients. The long-term goal of artificial intelligence (AI) is to make machines learn and think like human beings. Due to the high levels of uncertainty and vulnerability in human life and the open-ended nature of problems that humans are facing, no matter how intelligent machines are, they are unable to completely replace humans. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce human cognitive capabilities or human-like cognitive models into AI systems to develop a new form of AI, that is, hybrid-augmented intelligence. This form of AI or machine intelligence is a feasible and important developing model. Hybrid-augmented intelligence can be divided into two basic models: one is human-in-the-loop augmented intelligence with human-computer collaboration, and the other is cognitive computing based augmented intelligence, in which a cognitive model is embedded in the machine learning system. This survey describes a basic framework for human-computer collaborative hybrid-augmented intelligence, and the basic elements of hybrid-augmented intelligence based on cognitive computing. These elements include intuitive reasoning, causal models, evolution of memory and knowledge, especially the role and basic principles of intuitive reasoning for complex problem solving, and the cognitive learning framework for visual scene understanding based on memory and reasoning. Several typical applications of hybrid-augmented intelligence in related fields are given. 展开更多

煤炭作为我国主体能源地位短期内难以改变,但煤炭工业发展面临着“碳达峰,碳中和”目标的新挑战,积极推动煤炭资源绿色开采与低碳利用,充分发挥煤炭安全供给的兜底作用,是保障国家能源安全的重大现实需求。而CO_(2)排放是煤炭工业可持... 煤炭作为我国主体能源地位短期内难以改变,但煤炭工业发展面临着“碳达峰,碳中和”目标的新挑战,积极推动煤炭资源绿色开采与低碳利用,充分发挥煤炭安全供给的兜底作用,是保障国家能源安全的重大现实需求。而CO_(2)排放是煤炭工业可持续发展面临的最大制约,探索大规模、低成本CO_(2)封存技术是煤炭资源低碳化利用必须面对及破解的难题。在对煤层自然封存CO_(2)和CO_(2)气藏赋存地质条件研究基础上,探讨和展望利用煤炭开采、地下气化及原位热解等形成的扰动空间进行CO_(2)地下封存的技术途径,并明确了实现CO_(2)地下高效封存的必备条件:①煤层上部存在不受开采扰动影响的地质密闭层是实现煤矿扰动空间CO_(2)封存的先决要求;②构建功能性充填空间是实现CO_(2)地下封存的核心工作;③由功能性充填体围限的碎裂岩体、气化煤灰及热解半焦等封存载体物性特征是影响CO_(2)封存量及封存效果的重要因素。据此,剖析了进行CO_(2)地下封存亟待解决的技术难题:①实现CO_(2)地下封存的地质条件及评价方法;②构建CO_(2)封存空间的材料与工程技术;③煤炭开采、气化及热解扰动范围探测与CO_(2)封存潜力评价;④CO_(2)充注与封存效果监测及评估。在此基础上,针对煤炭开采、地下气化及原位热解过程中形成的扰动空间特点,分别提出了煤层采空区碎裂岩体、煤地下气化灰渣及碎裂岩体、煤原位热解半焦进行CO_(2)地下封存的实现途径。 展开更多

以砂岩薄片微观图像为例,研究了岩石颗粒与孔隙系统数字图像识别、定量化和统计分析方法。通过多颜色分割和去杂等操作获得二值图像;提出改进的种子算法来封闭特定直径的孔喉,并自动分割和识别不同的孔隙和颗粒;引入了概率统计的方法,... 以砂岩薄片微观图像为例,研究了岩石颗粒与孔隙系统数字图像识别、定量化和统计分析方法。通过多颜色分割和去杂等操作获得二值图像;提出改进的种子算法来封闭特定直径的孔喉,并自动分割和识别不同的孔隙和颗粒;引入了概率统计的方法,实现了由二维颗粒面积计算颗粒系统的三维分选系数;使用概率熵和分形维数分别来描述颗粒和孔隙的定向性和形状复杂度的变化等。在理论研究基础上,研发了孔隙(颗粒)及裂隙图像识别与分析系统(PCAS),通过简单操作即可得到颗粒和孔隙各种几何参数和统计参数。实例中,将PCAS应用于高孔隙度砂岩压密带微观形成机制研究。图像分析结果表明:(1)颗粒和孔隙得到了准确地识别量化,统计参数有效地描述和区分了不同的砂岩微观结构;(2)与V型压密带相比,产生平直型压密带的砂岩具有较大的孔隙度和平均孔隙面积,以及较好的颗粒分选性。研究表明砂岩压密带形态与其微观结构紧密联系,所采用的微观结构识别和分析方法可行。 展开更多

Combined detections of interleukin 27, interferon-γ, and adenosine deaminase in pleural effusion for diagnosis of tuberculous pleurisy 被引量:42

Background Previous studies reported interleukin-27 (IL-27), interferon-y (IFN-γ), or adenosine deaminase (ADA) alone plays a helpful role in diagnosing tuberculous pleural effusion (TPE). The present study aims at comparing the diagnostic accuracy of pleural IL-27, IFN-γ, and ADA, and investigate the diagnostic accuracy of the combination of IL-27, IFN-γ, or/ and ADA for differentiating TPE from pleural effusions with the other etiologies. Methods The concentrations of IL-27, IFN-γ and ADA were simultaneously determined in pleural fluids and sera from 40 patients with TPE; 26 with malignant pleural effusion, seven with infectious pleural effusion, and eight with transudative pleural effusion by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and colorimetric method. The corresponding biochemical indexs were also simultaneously determined. Results The concentrations of pleural IL-27 and IFN-γ in the tuberculous group were significantly higher than those in the malignant, infectious, and transudative groups. The concentrations of ADA in TPE were significantly higher than those in MPE or transudative effusions, while much lower than those in infectious effusions. Among these three biomarkers, IL- 27 was the most effective for TPE diagnosis, with the cut off value of 900.8 ng/L. IL-27 had a high sensitivity of 95% and specificity of 97.6% for differential diagnosis of TPE from non-TPEs. Combinations of IL-27, IFN-γ and ADA measurements further increased the sensitivity or specificity up to 100%. Conclusions Compared to non-TPEs, IL-27, IFN-γ and ADA all simultaneously increased in TPE; and among these three rapid detection methods, IL-27 appeared to be the best for distinguishing tuberculous from non-TPEs, especially from MPE. Combinations of the three markers (IL-27, IFN-γ and ADA) yielded the highest sensitivity and specificity. These findings suggest that the applications of a new biomarker, IL-27, alone or with IFN-γ and ADA, may contribute to more efficient diagnosis strategies in the management 展开更多

Background The computational fluid dynamics(CFD)approach has been frequently applied to compute the fractional flow reserve(FFR)using computed tomography angiography(CTA).This technique is efficient.We developed the DEEPVESSEL-FFR platform using the emerging deep learning technique to calculate the FFR value out of CTA images in five minutes.This study is to evaluate the DEEPVESSEL-FFR platform using the emerging deep learning technique to calculate the FFR value from CTA images as an efficient method.Methods A single-center,prospective study was conducted and 63 patients were enrolled for the evaluation of the diagnostic performance of DEEPVESSEL-FFR.Automatic quantification method for the three-dimensional coronary arterial geometry and the deep learning based prediction of FFR were developed to assess the ischemic risk of the stenotic coronary arteries.Diagnostic performance of the DEEPVESSEL-FFR was assessed by using wire-based FFR as reference standard.The primary evaluation factor was defined by using the area under receiver-operation characteristics curve(AUC)analysis.Results For per-patient level,taking the cut-off value<0.8 referring to the FFR measurement,DEEPVESSEL-FFR presented higher diagnostic performance in determining ischemia-related lesions with area under the curve of 0.928 compare to CTA stenotic severity 0.664.DEEPVESSEL-FFR correlated with FFR(R=0.686,P<0.001),with a mean di&ference of-0.006士0.0091(P=0.619).The secondary evaluation factors,indicating per vessel accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,and negative predictive value were 87.3%,97.14%,75%,82.93%,and 95.45%,respectively.Conclusion DEEPVESSEL-FFR is a novel method that allows efficient assessment of the functional significance of coronary stenosis. 展开更多

汉江是南水北调中线工程的水源区,其中下游水质状况是国家和湖北省政府重点关注的饮用水安全问题.研究南水北调中线工程影响区汉江中下游干流的水质状况和特征,为进一步分析工程运行对汉江中下游水质的影响奠定基础.收集了汉江中下游干... 汉江是南水北调中线工程的水源区,其中下游水质状况是国家和湖北省政府重点关注的饮用水安全问题.研究南水北调中线工程影响区汉江中下游干流的水质状况和特征,为进一步分析工程运行对汉江中下游水质的影响奠定基础.收集了汉江中下游干流11个水质监测站2011—2014年p H、ρ(DO)、ρ(CODMn)、ρ(BOD5)、ρ(NH3-N)、ρ(TP)、ρ(TN)等7项水质指标,应用水污染指数法和层次聚类分析法,综合辨识2011—2014年汉江中下游干流的水环境时空变化特征.结果表明:(1)2011—2014年汉江中下游干流水质整体上为GB 3838—2002《地表水环境质量标准》的Ⅳ类~劣Ⅴ类水体,超标指标为ρ(TN)、ρ(TP)、ρ(BOD5),其中ρ(TN)超标最严重.(2)为深入辨识TN负荷对研究区域水质的影响,通过情景分析发现控制ρ(TN)可有效改善汉江中下游干流水质状况.(3)汉江中下游干流水质状况层次聚类分析表明,在时间上将研究时段分为2类,基本对应于汉江中下游的汛期和非汛期;在空间上将水质监测断面(沈湾、泽口、新沟、宗关、转斗、皇庄、汉南村、石剅、白家湾、余家湖、罗汉闸)分为3类,其中第3类可细分为3个子类,各子类所对应的水质监测断面与其空间分布基本对应.(4)汉江中下游干流富营养化严重,其中ρ(TP)和ρ(TN)在非汛期分别呈显著降低和增加趋势,汛期无明显变化.研究显示,江汉中下游污染严重,营养盐尤其丰富且ρ(TN)为主要影响因素. 展开更多

Background:Old pelvis fractures are among the most challenging fractures to treat because of their complex anatomy,difficult-to-access surgical sites,and the relatively low incidence of such cases.Proper evaluation and surgical planning are necessary to achieve the pelvic ring symmetry and stable fixation of the fracture.The goal of this study was to assess the use of three-dimensional (3D) printing techniques for surgical management of old pelvic fractures.Methods:First,16 dried human cadaveric pelvises were used to confirm the anatomical accuracy of the 3D models printed based on radiographic data.Next,nine clinical cases between January 2009 and April 2013 were used to evaluate the surgical reconstruction based on the 3D printed models.The pelvic injuries were all type C,and the average time from injury to reconstruction was 11 weeks (range:8-17 weeks).The workflow consisted of.:(1) Printing patient-specific bone models based on preoperative computed tomography (CT) scans,(2) virtual fracture reduction using the printed 3D anatomic template,(3) virtual fracture fixation using Kirschner wires,and (4) preoperatively measuring the osteotomy and implant position relative to landmarks using the virtually defined deformation.These models aided communication between surgical team members during the procedure.This technique was validated by comparing the preoperative planning to the intraoperative procedure.Results:The accuracy of the 3D printed models was within specification.Production of a model from standard CT DICOM data took 7 hours (range:6-9 hours).Preoperative planning using the 3D printed models was feasible in all cases.Good correlation was found between the preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up X-ray in all nine cases.The patients were followed for 3-29 months (median:5 months).The fracture healing time was 9-17 weeks (mean:l0 weeks).No delayed incision healing,wound infection,or nonunions occurred.The results were excellent in two cases,g 展开更多

Analysis of GEONET observations covering the entire territory of Japan shows that the great Tohoku-oki earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011 off the east coast of Honshu in Japan caused an eastward movement of the northern part of the island by as much as 5.3 m. The GPS data from TEONET in China were used to derive far-field coseismic displacements and to assess the impact of the Tohoku-oki earthquake on crustal deformation in eastern China. The results reveal that the coseismic horizontal displacements induced by the earthquake are the level of millimeters to centimeters in North and Northeast China, with a maximum of 35 mm. Strain analysis also indicates that the earthquake resulted in an increase in the tensile strain on the north-northeast trending faults in North and Northeast China. The tensile strain imposed on the Yilan-Yitong and Dunhua-Mishan faults is more significant than that imposed on the faults in North China; the maximum normal strain reaches about 40 nano-strain. Considering that the static Coulomb stress loaded on the faults is limited, its effect on the regional seismic activity may not be significant. 展开更多

Clayey silt reservoirs bearing natural gas hydrates(NGH)are considered to be the hydrate-bearing reservoirs that boast the highest reserves but tend to be the most difficult to exploit.They are proved to be exploitable by the first NGH production test conducted in the South China Sea in 2017.Based on the understanding of the first production test,the China Geological Survey determined the optimal target NGH reservoirs for production test and conducted a detailed assessment,numerical and experimental simulation,and onshore testing of the reservoirs.After that,it conducted the second offshore NGH production test in 1225 m deep Shenhu Area,South China Sea(also referred to as the second production test)from October 2019 to April 2020.During the second production test,a series of technical challenges of drilling horizontal wells in shallow soft strata in deep sea were met,including wellhead stability,directional drilling of a horizontal well,reservoir stimulation and sand control,and accurate depressurization.As a result,30 days of continuous gas production was achieved,with a cumulative gas production of 86.14×104 m3.Thus,the average daily gas production is 2.87×10^4 m^3,which is 5.57 times as much as that obtained in the first production test.Therefore,both the cumulative gas production and the daily gas production were highly improved compared to the first production test.As indicated by the monitoring results of the second production test,there was no anomaly in methane content in the seafloor,seawater,and atmosphere throughout the whole production test.This successful production test further indicates that safe and effective NGH exploitation is feasible in clayey silt NGH reservoirs.The industrialization of hydrates consists of five stages in general,namely theoretical research and simulation experiments,exploratory production test,experimental production test,productive production test,and commercial production.The second production test serves as an important step from the exploratory production test to exper 展开更多

There is considerable potential for integrating transarterial chemoembolization(TACE),programmed death-(ligand)1(PD-[L]1)inhibitors,and molecular targeted treatments(MTT)in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).It is necessary to investigate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of TACE combined with PD-(L)1 inhibitors and MTT in real-world situations.In this nationwide,retrospective,cohort study,826 HCC patients receiving either TACE plus PD-(L)1 blockades and MTT(combination group,n=376)or TACE monotherapy(monotherapy group,n=450)were included from January 2018 to May 2021.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS)according to modified RECIST.The secondary outcomes included overall survival(OS),objective response rate(ORR),and safety.We performed propensity score matching approaches to reduce bias between two groups.After matching,228 pairs were included with a predominantly advanced disease population.Median PFS in combination group was 9.5 months(95%confidence interval[CI],8.4-11.0)versus 8.0 months(95%CI,6.6-9.5)(adjusted hazard ratio[HR],0.70,P=0.002).OS and ORR were also significantly higher in combination group(median OS,19.2[16.1-27.3]vs.15.7 months[13.0-20.2];adjusted HR,0.63,P=0.001;ORR,60.1%vs.32.0%;P<0.001).Grade 3/4 adverse events were observed at a rate of 15.8%and 7.5%in combination and monotherapy groups,respectively.Our results suggest that TACE plus PD-(L)1 blockades and MTT could significantly improve PFS,OS,and ORR versus TACE monotherapy for Chinese patients with predominantly advanced HCC in real-world practice,with an acceptable safety profile. 展开更多

Background In China,the prevalence of chronic kidney disease has increased significantly.Many studies shows that the spectrum of kidney disease had changed in recent years.We retrospectively analyzed the pathological types of renal biopsy and its spectrum change at the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from December 1987 to December 2012,in order to offer new supporting evidences for further specifying the distribution of renal pathological types in China.Methods According to the "Revised Protocol for the Histological Typing of Glomerulopathy" (WHO,1995),pathological diagnosis of renal biopsy was classified,detection rate of each pathological type was summarized (i.e.,percentage of total renal biopsy cases),study period was divided at an interval of 5 years,and age-stratified distribution change of main pathological types was analyzed.Results The proportion of pathological types in 11 618 cases of renal biopsy was as follows:primary glomerulonephritis (PGN,70.7%),secondary glomerulonephritis (SGN,20.7%),tubular-interstitial nephropathy (4.0%),hereditary/rare nephropathy (0.3%),end-stage renal disease (0.9%),and unclassified renal disease (3.3%).Among PGN,there was IgA nephropathy (IgAN,37.0%),membranous nephropathy (MN,11.8%),mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis (MsPGN,8.9%),minimal change disease (MCD,6.6%),and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (3.9%).Among SGN there was lupus nephritis (LN,5.5%),Henoch-Sch(o)nlein purpura glomerulonephritis (5.3%),hepatitis B virus-associated nephritis (HBVAN,3.03%),diabetic nephropathy (2.2%),and hypertension/malignant hypertension-associated renal damage (1.9%).Pathological data were analyzed from 1987-1992 to 2008-2012 (after age adjustment).Detection rate of IgAN tended to rise (P <0.001).Detection rates of MN and MCD rose significantly (P <0.001),but detection rate of MsPGN dropped significantly (P <0.001).A 展开更多

In this paper, an updated vegetation map of the permafrost zone in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP) was delineated. The vegetation map model was extracted from vegetation sampling with remote sensing (RS) datasets by decision tree method. The spatial resolution of the map is 1 km×1 kin, and in it the alpine swamp meadow is firstly distinguished in the high-altitude areas. The results showed that the total vegetated area in the permafrost zone of the QTP is 1,201,751 km2. In the vegetated region, 50,260 km2 is the areas of alpine swamp meadow, 583,909 km2 for alpine meadow, 332,754 km2 for alpine steppe, and 234,828 km2 for alpine desert. This updated vegetation map in permafrost zone of QTP could provide more details about the distribution of alpine vegetation types for studying the vegetation mechanisms in the land surface processes of highaltitude areas. 展开更多

土壤水是地表与大气在水热交换方面的关键纽带,是关键水循环要素,更是地表产汇流过程的关键控制因子。青藏高原是地球第三极,也是亚洲水塔,探讨青藏高原土壤水变化对于探讨青藏高原热力学特征变化及其对东亚乃至全球气候变化的影响具有... 土壤水是地表与大气在水热交换方面的关键纽带,是关键水循环要素,更是地表产汇流过程的关键控制因子。青藏高原是地球第三极,也是亚洲水塔,探讨青藏高原土壤水变化对于探讨青藏高原热力学特征变化及其对东亚乃至全球气候变化的影响具有重要意义,而获取高精度长序列大尺度土壤水数据集则是其关键。本文利用青藏高原100个土壤水站点观测数据,从多空间尺度(0.25°×0.25°,0.5°×0.5°,1°×1°)、多时间段(冻结和融化期)等角度,采用多评价指标(R、RMSE、Bias),对多套遥感反演和同化数据(ECV、ERA-Interim、MERRA、Noah)进行全面评估。结果表明:(1)除ERA外,其他数据均能反映青藏高原土壤水变化,且与降水量变化一致。而在那曲地区,遥感反演和同化数据均明显低估实测土壤水含量。从空间分布来看,MERRA和Noah与植被指数最为一致,可很好地反映土壤水空间变化特征;(2)青藏高原大部分地区土壤水变化主要受降水影响,其中青藏高原西部边缘与喜马拉雅地区土壤水变化则受冰雪融水和降水的共同影响;(3)除阿里地区外,大部分遥感反演和同化数据在融化期与实测土壤水相关性高于冻结期,其中在那曲地区,遥感反演和同化数据均高估冻结期土壤含水量,却低估融化期土壤含水量。另外,遥感反演和同化数据对中大空间尺度土壤水的估计要好于对小空间尺度土壤水的估计。本研究为青藏高原土壤水研究的数据集选择提供重要理论依据。 展开更多

Perilla frutescens(Perilla leaf), a garnishing vegetable in East Asian countries, as well as a plant-based medicine, has been used for centuries to treat various conditions, including depression. Several studies have demonstrated that the essential oil of P. frutescens(EOPF) attenuated the depressive-like behavior in mice. The present study was designed to test the anti-depressant effects of EOPF and the possible mechanisms in an chronic, unpredictable, mild stress(CUMS)-induced mouse model. With the exposure to stressor once daily for five consecutive weeks, EOPF(3, 6, and 9 mg·kg-1) and a positive control drug fluoxetine(20 mg·kg-1) were administered through gastric intubation to mice once daily for three consecutive weeks from the 3rd week. Open-field test, sucrose consumption test, tail suspension test(TST), and forced swimming test(FST) were used to evaluate the behavioral activity. The contents of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) and its metabolite, 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid(5-HIAA), in mouse hippocampus were determined by HPLC–ECD. Serum interleukin(IL)-1, IL-6, and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α levels were evaluated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). The results showed that CUMS significantly decreased the levels of 5-HT and 5-HIAA in the hippocampus, with an increase in plasma IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α levels. CUMS also reduced open-field activity, sucrose consumption, as well as increased immobility duration in FST and TST. EOPF administration could effectively reverse the alterations in the concentrations of 5-HT and 5-HIAA; reduce the IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α levels. Moreover, EOPF could effectively reverse alterations in immobility duration, sucrose consumption, and open-field activity. However, the effect was not dose-dependent. In conclusion, EOPF administration exhibited significant antidepressant-like effects in mice with CUMS-induced depression. The antidepressant activity of EOPF might be related to the relation between alteration of serotonergic responses and anti-inflammatory effects. 展开更多
