[目的]建立雷公藤片中雷公藤甲素、雷公藤红素、雷公藤内酯甲、雷公藤定碱和雷酚内酯5种成分的液相色谱串联质谱法的同时定量测定的方法。[方法]采用液相色谱质谱联用技术(LC-MS/MS)测定含量,使用Zorbax XDB-C18(2.1 mm×50 mm,3.5μm)色谱柱,流动相采用40 mmol/L甲酸铵水溶液和0.1%甲酸甲醇溶液梯度洗脱,采用正离子模式大气压化学电离源(APCI源)。检测成分的离子对质荷比分别为:雷公藤甲素(361.0/105.0)、雷公藤红素(451.2/201.0)、雷公藤内酯甲(455.3/409.7)、雷公藤定碱(884.4/856.5)、雷酚内酯(313.2/225.2)。[结果]雷公藤甲素、雷公藤红素、雷公藤内酯甲、雷公藤定碱和雷酚内酯的线性关系良好(r>0.999),加样回收率分别为105.67%、94.07%、101.90%、99.28%、101.92%,RSD分别为2.65%、5.17%、2.68%、2.65%、3.27%。[结论]本研究所建立的LC-MS/MS分析方法稳定可靠、简便易行,可用于雷公藤片中雷公藤甲素、雷公藤红素、雷公藤内酯甲、雷公藤定碱和雷酚内酯5种成分的同时定量分析,为雷公藤片的质量评价和质量控制奠定了基础。 展开更多

Recently, diabetic gastroparesis(DGP) has received much attention as its prevalence is increasing in a dramatic fashion and management of patients with DGP represents a challenge in the clinical practice due to the limited therapeutic options. DGP highlights an interrelationship between the gastric emptying and pancreatic secretory function that regulate a wide range of digestive and metabolic functions, respectively. It well documented that both gastric emptying and pancreatic secretion are under delicate control by multiple neurohormonal mechanisms including extrinsic parasympathetic pathways and gastrointestinal(GI) hormones. Interestingly, the latter released in response to various determinants that related to the rate and quality of gastric emptying. Others and we have provided strong evidence that the central autonomic nuclei send a dual output(excitatory and inhibitory) to the stomach and the pancreas in response to a variety of hormonal signals from the abdominal viscera. Most of these hormones released upon gastric emptying to provide feedback, and control this process and simultaneously regulate pancreatic secretion and postprandial glycemia. These findings emphasize an important link between gastric emptying and pancreatic secretion and its role in maintaining homeostatic processes within the GI tract. The present review deals with the neurohormonal-coupled mechanisms of gastric emptying and pancreatic secretory function that implicated in DGP and this provides new insights in our understanding of the pathophysiology of DGP. This also enhances the process of identifying potential therapeutic targets to treat DGP and limit the complications of current management practices. 展开更多

抗生素进入水体易堆积在水体下层或者底泥中,对水生生物造成不良影响,因此本实验旨在探究恩诺沙星在渔业下层水体中的消除规律,以及代谢产物环丙沙星的生成情况。实验选取了渔业水环境中常见的环境因素(温度和pH),利用液相色谱-串联质谱... 抗生素进入水体易堆积在水体下层或者底泥中,对水生生物造成不良影响,因此本实验旨在探究恩诺沙星在渔业下层水体中的消除规律,以及代谢产物环丙沙星的生成情况。实验选取了渔业水环境中常见的环境因素(温度和pH),利用液相色谱-串联质谱法,通过正交实验研究这两个环境因素对恩诺沙星(ENR)在水体中降解的影响,同时检测其代谢产物环丙沙星(CIP)的生成及变化情况。实验结果表明,9个处理组中ENR的半衰期变化范围为13~32天,消除率范围为44%~80%。根方差分析可知,pH变化对恩诺沙星的降解有显著影响,而温度变化对其影响不显著,在温度为25℃和pH 5的条件下,恩诺沙星的消除率最高。此外,在实验过程中检测到环丙沙星的产生,其在实验开始的第7天,在pH 5和温度为25℃的条件下浓度达到最高(10.8 ng/mL),之后逐渐降低,在第26天时浓度降低到0~0.16 ng/mL之间。本研究明确了环境因素对恩诺沙星降解的影响,为减少养殖环境中残留的恩诺沙星提供一定的理论指导。 展开更多

Obesity has been increasing significantly in Brazil and worldwide, becoming a major public health issue. Traditional prevention and treatment strategies, including behavioral interventions, nutritional modifications, physical activity, pharmacotherapy, and metabolic/bariatric procedures, have proven insufficient to reverse this trend. Bariatric surgery is recognized as the most effective treatment for obesity and its comorbidities, but it carries potential long-term risks. Hybrid Duodenal Transit Bipartition is proposed as a minimally invasive “endobariatric” procedure combining endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG) with laparoscopic duodenoileal or distal duodenojejunal anastomosis. The main objective of this study is to demonstrate the importance of the intestinal metabolic component of hybrid duodenal transit bipartition. This intestinal component is responsible for optimizing and attempting to maintain weight loss and control comorbidities from an ESG through the incretin stimulus generated by the early arrival of food in the ileum or distal jejunum (duodenoileal or distal duodenojejunal anastomosis). Additionally, it is a minimally invasive procedure that preserves the entire digestive system and does not involve gastrointestinal exclusion, allowing for endoscopic and nutritional access. To date, only one patient has undergone the hybrid duodenal bipartition procedure, with satisfactory early postoperative results at 60 days and weight loss exceeding the scientific literature on patients who underwent isolated endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty. Further studies are needed to validate these results and assess the long-term metabolic benefits of this new approach. 展开更多

Obesity is a significant and escalating health issue both in Brazil and globally, with over 650 million overweight adults worldwide. The treatment of obesity can be performed clinically, endoscopically or surgically;surgical treatment proves to be safe and more effective in terms of weight loss and long-term maintenance. Objective: This study aimed to monitor the progress of weight loss and comorbidity control in patients undergoing sleeve gastrectomy with duodenal bipartition. Methods: This pilot project involved 8 patients divided into 2 arms. In the first arm, patients underwent sleeve gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y duodenoileal transit bipartition (S-RYDITB), while in the second arm, patients underwent sleeve gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y duodenojejunal transit bipartition (S-RYDJTB). Both procedures involved Roux-en-Y reconstruction without duodenal exclusion. In S-RYDITB, the duodenal-ileal anastomosis was performed 300 cm from the ileocecal valve (ICV), creating a 250 cm common channel and a 50 cm alimentary channel. In S-RYDJTB, a biliopancreatic loop was created 200 cm from the angle of Treitz, with a 1 m alimentary channel. Results: Five patients underwent the procedures, with one undergoing S-RYDITB and four undergoing S-RYDJTB. No adverse events such as hospitalizations, readmissions, reoperations, fistulas, bleeding, pulmonary embolism, diarrhea, dumping syndrome, or hypoglycemia occurred during the study period. The mean length of hospital stay was 2 days. The average BMI decreased from 37.27 kg/m<sup>2</sup> preoperatively to 29.48 kg/m<sup>2</sup> after 6 months. The significant percentage of weight loss was 21.22%, with excess weight loss of 63.6%. Ninety-five percent remission of comorbidities, including hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, diabetes, hypertension, steatosis, and pre-diabetes. Two patients underwent sleeve gastrectomy with duodenal bipartition using a single anastomosis. Objective: This case report aimed to demonstrate a possible neuromuscular effect of pyloric sympathectomy on the pylorus motility, leading to its permanent relaxation, observed in two bariatric surgical cases, one primary and the other, revisional. Background: Pyloric sphincter is a physiological barrier to free gastric emptying. In sleeve gastrectomy and in Roux-en-Y gastric bypass revisions, that put the remnant stomach in transit, the pylorus can contribute to generate a high intragastric pressure, which could lead to acute gastric fistulas and/or chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease. The possibility of functionally relaxing the pylorus, promoting intragastric pressure reduction, could represent a protective maneuver against these complications. Methods: We describe herein a surgical maneuver applied in two cases of bariatric surgeries, with the intention of facilitating antrum-duodenal region exposure, in a sleeve gastrectomy and in a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass conversion to SADI-S. For this, a ligation of terminal peripyloric vessels was done, allowing a passage of a tape, which surrounded the pylorus, for its traction. In both cases, 30-day and 1-year endoscopic evaluations were done, to assess esophagitis signs, anastomosis healing and anatomical pouch aspect. A clinical evaluation was also done, to assess gastroesophageal symptoms (validated questionnaire). Results: In the postoperative endoscopic evaluations, no esophagitis were observed in any case and the gastric pouches had normal aspect, with the expected anatomical findings, compatible with the surgeries performed. The anastomosis healed without problems, in the revisional case. Interestingly, in both cases, it was observed a complete pyloric sphincter relaxation, which lasted until 1-year endoscopic evaluation. There were no fistulas, nor esophagitis in any of these cases. Objective: This case report aimed to demonstrate a possible neuromuscular effect of Latarjet nerves transection or truncal vagotomy, in association with sleeve gastrectomy plus antrojejunostomy, in order to reproduce a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) mechanistic principles, in patients with previous Sleeve Gastrectomy (SG) who had had weight regain, with or without concomitant gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Background: Sleeve gastrectomy (SG) is one of the most frequently performed bariatric operations worldwide. Nevertheless, weight regain and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) have been consistently demonstrated, in association with this technique, which may require a revisional procedure. RYGB is an option in such a situation but, implies in gastrointestinal exclusions, which represents a shortcoming of this revision. Surpassing this inconvenient would be of great value for the patients. Methods: We describe herein two cases of SG revision for weight regain and GERD, with a follow-up of one year. Gastroesophageal reflux disease was evaluated by validated questionnaire, upper endoscopy, seriography, high resolution manometry (HRM) and impedance pHmetry (I-pHmetry), in the pre and postoperative periods. A re-Sleeve Gastrectomy with antrojejunal anastomosis was done in both cases, after informed consents. The Latarjet nerves were transected in one case, due to a bleeding in the left gastric vessels and a truncal vagotomy was required in the other, to appropriately treat an associated hiatal hernia. Results: In the postoperative evaluation it was observed a pyloric spasm in both cases, during seriography and endoscopy, kept until the one-year follow-up. There was unidirectional contrast flow to the gastrointestinal anastomosis, filling the jejunal limb, in radiologic contrast study. No contrast passed through the pylorus. Introduction: Cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) is defined as implantation of gestational sac at the site of cesarean scar. It’s a serious diagnosis that has become more prevalent in recent years and related to the increasing rate of cesarean sections reported worldwide. Identifying these cases and treating them is challenging, with no agreed upon universal protocol for successful treatment. We aim to evaluate the success rate and outcome of medical management for Cesarean scar pregnancy. Methods: It was a retrospective descriptive study of all cesarean scar pregnancies managed at fetal medicine unit at Latifa Hospital in Dubai, UAE the main obstetrics & Gynecology tertiary hospital in Dubai Emirate, UAE from 2015 to 2017. Certainly, a set of diagnostic criteria were implemented to confirm the diagnosis of CSP. The cases were then offered our proposed management which is systemic methotrexate injections ± KCL. Follow up made by serial βhcg and ultrasound scan. The data were collected used specified data collection sheet for this purpose then analyzed and presented using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 26. Results: 33 cases of cesarean scar pregnancies are confirmed and medically managed during the study period. The study subjects composed of a group of patients who had a viable CSP and received local KCL injection + systemic methotrexate, a second group who had non-viable CSP and received systemic methotrexate 20 cases were viable pregnancies who received combined local potassium chloride plus systemic methotrexate, and 13 were non-viable received systemic methotrexate only. The mean gestational age at diagnosis was 8 weeks (SD ± 1.8). On average our cases had a history of 3 previous cesarean sections (range 1 - 6). Overall, the success rate calculated from our study population for medical management of CSP was 77.8%;this varied between viable CSP which had a success rate of 66.7% and non-viable CSP which had a success rate of 100%. Yield stability and relationships among stability parameters in faba bean(Vicia faba L.) genotypes 被引量:4

Sixteen faba bean genotypes were evaluated in 13 environments in Ethiopia during the main cropping season for three years(2009–2011). The objectives of the study were to evaluate the yield stability of the genotypes and the relative importance of different stability parameters for improving selection in faba bean. The study was conducted using a randomized complete block design with four replications. G × E interaction and yield stability were estimated using 17 different stability parameters. Pooled analysis of variance for grain yield showed that the main effects of both genotypes and environments, and the interaction effect, were highly significant(P ≤ 0.001) and(P ≤ 0.01), respectively. The environment main effect accounted for 89.27% of the total yield variation, whereas genotype and G × E interaction effects accounted for 2.12% and 3.31%, respectively.Genotypic superiority index(Pi) and FT3 were found to be very informative for selecting both high-yielding and stable faba bean genotypes. Twelve of the 17 stability parameters,including CVi, RS, α, λ, S2 di, bi, S(2)i, Wi, σ2i, EV, P59, and ASV, were influenced simultaneously by both yield and stability. They should accordingly be used as complementary criteria to select genotypes with high yield and stability. Although none of the varieties showed consistently superior performance across all environments, the genotype EK 01024-1-2ranked in the top third of the test entries in 61.5% of the test environments and was identified as the most stable genotype, with type I stability. EK 01024-1-2 also showed a17.0% seed size advantage over the standard varieties and was released as a new variety in2013 for wide production and named "Gora". Different stability parameters explained genotypic performance differently, irrespective of yield performance. It was accordingly concluded that assessment of G × E interaction and yield stability should not be based on a single or a few stability parameters but rather on a combination of stability parameters. 展开更多

The present work designed and investigated a 3D basic model for breast cancer detection at the ISM band. The model consists of two multi-slotted rectangular patch antennas and a three-layer breast phantom containing two tumors. A multi-slotted antenna was designed at 2.45 GHz using CST STUDIO SUITE 2018, where the simulated results showed a return loss better than -35 dB and attended more than 77 MHz bandwidth. The diagnosis approach is based on exploiting the electrical properties (frequency dependent) of breast tissues, i.e., mass density, relative permittivity, and conductivity. Once the proposed slotted antenna radiates electromagnetic signals toward the breast model (with and without tumors), the radiation properties in terms of the scattering parameters (S<sub>11</sub> and S<sub>21</sub>), the electrical field, the power flow, the current density, and the power loss density were altered. As a result, the values of these radiation parameters increased when tumors were implanted inside the breast model, informing the presence of cancerous tissues. Moreover, the specific absorption rate (SAR) was estimated as a function of input powers, where the proposed antenna showed a set of low SAR values compared to the IEEE standard of 1.6 W/kg, validating its potential use for diagnosing purposes. The simulated results indicated the prospective use of two slotted antennas (in the first instance) to detect multiple tumors which could be a challenging task using a single-element antenna, where the ultimate goal is to realize a compact antenna array to detect multi-tumors. 展开更多

The ultimate objective is to provide actionable insights and recommendations that could inform future strategies and policies to enhance Zanzibar SMEs on the successful implementation and acceptance of e-government services in Zanzibar. The study involves SMEs which are Small and Medium Industries Development Agency (SMIDA), Zanzibar Association of Tourism Investors (ZATI) and Zanzibar National Chambers of Commerce (ZNCC). Quantitative research design holds significant merit for this study, whereby primary data was in this study ensures that all variables are accurately and comprehensively captured. The study involved 384 respondents. Survey questionnaire used to collect the required information. Generally, the results displayed that, while Technological Readiness does not exhibit a mediating effect between either Human Resource Capital or Financial Source Capital and E-government Services Adoption, it does play a significant mediating role in the relationships of both Government Policies and Information Communication Technology with E-government Services Adoption. This highlights the importance of considering intermediary factors like Technological Readiness when understanding the influences on E-government service adoption to Zanzibar SMEs. 展开更多

It is reaching epidemic proportions, and bariatric surgery is the most effective treatment for patients with this disease. Among the procedures described in the literature, ileal surgeries such as biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch (BPD-DS) and single-anastomosis duodeno-ileal bypass with sleeve gastrectomy (SADI-S) present better long-term results in terms of weight loss and comorbidities control. However, there are concerns regarding long term nutritional problems with these procedures. In this case report the aim is to demonstrate the technical feasibility of preserving an extended duodenal bulb segment, in the SADIS-S procedure, when there are difficulties in dissecting the retrobulbar region, as occurred here, due to fibrosis in this area. This assures the maintenance of the proposed surgical technique, in such a situation. The dissection and transection of the duodenum was done 7 cm distally to the pylorus, under endoscopic view, proximally to the papillae, where the tissue was normal. Additionally, due the importance of the duodenal mucosa on minerals and trace elements absorption and the release of important hormones in this region, this case report elicits the evaluation of the impact of this technical modification, which occurred casually, in the nutritional, hormonal and metabolic results, long term. In this case report, the extended duodenal length has demonstrated reasonable weight loss, adequate comorbidities control and good nutritional status, so far. These aspects must be evaluated in the long term, by clinical trials. 展开更多

Bariatric surgery is the most effective and durable treatment for severe obesity and related diseases. Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RYGB) and Sleeve Gastrectomy (SG) are the most frequently performed bariatric operations, with long-term good results, in terms of weight loss and comorbidities control. Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is commonly associated with obesity. In general, it precludes the indication of sleeve gastrectomy, since this technique has a refluxogenic potential, as shown in many studies. In such cases, RYGB is considered the best surgery, reaching good weight loss and gastroesophageal reflux disease control. The drawback of this technique is that it leaves the remnant stomach, the duodenum, and the proximal part of the jejunum inaccessible. Besides, RYGB makes transoral endoscopic access to the biliary tree impossible. For all these reasons, this bariatric technique is not indicated in cases of gastric polyposis, gastric dysplasia, or strong family history of cancer, among others. We report a case of a morbidly obese patient with intense GERD, for whom a RYGB was precluded due to her strong family history of cancer, even knowing that it would be the best choice for reflux disease control. Instead, SG was chosen, even knowing it could worsen the gastroesophageal reflux disease. The patient signed an informed consent, after being fully enlightened about the risks. During the surgery, a small subserosal whitish lesion was detected, near the pylorus, on the anterior wall of the antrum. Thinking in a Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST), it was resected, with a 2 cm safety margin, leaving a 4 to 5 cm hole on the gastric wall. The decision to maintain the proposed sleeve gastrectomy was made, to avoid leaving a remnant stomach, in a patient with such a strong family history of cancer. The present work proposed a simple model for breast cancer hyperthermia treatment at 2.45 GHz. The proposed model involves nine-element antennas alongside a numerical breast comprising multiple tumors. Using a coupled EM-Thermal simulation in the CST suite, the simulated results for a single antenna showed a reflection coefficient (S<sub>11</sub>) better than -47 dB and demonstrated a bandwidth of 78 MHz. The specific absorption rate (SAR) as a function of input powers was examined inside the breast tissues, where it exhibited a promising performance higher than 3 W/kg at the tumor volume when the applied power was at a reasonable level of 1.5 W whereas it was well attained under the recommend IEEE level of 1.6 W/kg through the surrounded health tissues. Taking into consideration nine-element antennas covering the breast containing two different located tumors, the maximum temperature as a function of treatment time was presented at which a resulting temperature of 43°C was obtainable within 10 minutes, favored for hyperthermia purposes. Considering the maximum power level of 1.5 W, the potential use of applying three-element antennas, simultaneously with 0.5 W, could be achieved. 展开更多

Constant envelope with a fractional Fourier transformorthogonal frequency division multiplexing(CE-FrFT-OFDM)is a special case of a constant envelope OFDM(CE-OFDM),both being energy efficient wireless communication techniques with a 0 dB peak to average power ratio(PAPR).However,with the proper selection of fractional order,the first technique has a high bit error rate(BER)performance in the frequency-time selective channels.This paper performs further analysis of CE-FrFT-OFDM by examining its spectral efficiency(SE)and energy efficiency(EE)and compare to the famous OFDM and FrFT-OFDM techniques.Analytical and comprehensive simulations conducted show that,the CE-FrFT-OFDM has five times the EE of OFDM and FrFT-OFDM systems with a slightly less SE.Increasing CE-FrFT-OFDM’s transmission power by increasing its amplitude to 1.7 increases its SE to match that of the OFDM and FrFT-OFDM systems while slightly reducing its EE by 20%to be four times that of OFDM and FrFTOFDM systems.OFDM and FrFT-OFDM’s amplitude fluctuations cause rapid changing output back-off(OBO)power requirements and further reduce power amplifier(PA)efficiency while CE-FrFTOFDM stable operational linear range makes it a better candidate and outperforms the other techniques when their OBO exceeds 1.7.Higher EE and low BER in time-frequency selective channel are attracting features for CE-FrFT-OFDM deployment in mobile devices. 展开更多

The major active ingredients of Angelica dahurica is coumarin, which is reported as a kind of potent inhibitor of cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYP450s). The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibition of CYP3A enzymes by total coumarin extract (TCE) obtained from dried root of Angelica dahurica by using in situ single pass intestinal perfusion (SPIP) and in situ liver perfusion in rats. When midazolam (MDZ) which is a substrate of CYP3A co-perfused with TCE (198 μg/mL) from Baizhi in duodenum and ileum segments, the Peff of MDZ has increased significantly compared with the MDZ single perfused group (p 0.05) (n = 6). During in situ liver perfusion study, the results demonstrated that, 3 days oral administration of TCE obtained from Baizhi could significantly reduce the elimination rate of MDZ in the perfusate (p Angelica dahurica extract co-administrated with drugs which are the substrates of CYP3A, much more attention should be paid rather than that of other CYP450 enzymes. Secondary metabolites, also known as phytochemicals, natural products or plant constituents are responsible for medicinal properties of plants to which they belong. The role they play in the plant is not, to date, well known or understood, but it may be beyond the protection. Their classification is based on chemical structure, composition, their solubility in various solvents, or the pathway by which they are synthesized. The main classification system includes three major groups: terpenoids, alkaloids and phenolics. For each one, we find subclasses with complexity in structure. In this review, we deal with the description of second metabolites, their biosynthesis, function, and the current pharmacological findings. Natural products are an important source of drug candidates in pharmaceutical industry, more deeply we understand them, the easier it is for scientists to intervene in alleviating different kind of diseases. The recent references have been consulted for presenting updated information, but also showing the new potentialities of plant second metabolites in drug research and development. 展开更多

Objective:To analyze Myrlus communis chemically and evaluate the hypotensive effects and antioxidant properties of methanol,chloroform,ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts from the leaves of this plant.Methods:Total phenolic and flavonoid contents as well as the antioxidant potential of methanol,chloroform,ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts have been investigated by using different in vitro methods.The hypotensive effects of methanol and ethyl acetate extracts were evaluated in anaesthetized rats by using the method of invasive blood pressure recording.Moreover,ethyl acetate extract was subjected to analysis by different chromatographic methods in order to identify new compounds.Results:Chemical analysis of ethyl acetate extract revealed the presence of myrecitin-3-O-α-rhamnoside.Ethyl acetate extract was found to have the highest total phenolic and total flavonoid contents with the values of 435.37 ma gallic acid equivalents/g dried weight and 130.75 mg quercetin equivalent/g dried weight,respectively.Ethyl acetate extract also exhibited the highest activity in scavenging 2.2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl.2,2'-azinobis-(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid),hydroxy]radical and reducing power:whereas,methanol extract exhibited higher chelating activity than ethyl acetate extract did.Chloroform was found to be strong inhibitor of lipid peroxidation in β-carotene bleaching assay(91.19%).ferric thiocyanate method(87.55%).and thiobarbituric acid method(82.59%) as compared to butylated hydroxytoluene.Intravenous administration of methanol and ethyl acetate extract(0.04 to 12 mg/kg body weight) decreased the maximum mean arterial blood pressure with values of 20.6%and 32.49%at 12 mg/kg body weight,respectively in anesthetized rats.Conclusions:This study provides a scientific basis for the use of Myruts communis in traditional medicine as hypertensive agent as well as additional resources for natural antioxidants. 展开更多

The aims of this study are to determine the effect of Sabah ragi on food waste and dry leaves composting as well as to compare the composting performance from a previous study that had no addition of Sabah ragi.The composting process was conducted using an in-vessel passive aerated bioreactor with turning every 3 days for 40 days.Based on the physiochemical analysis,the stability and maturity of the compost were evaluated.Parameters such as temperature,total organic carbon,moisture content,pH,conductivity,and C/N were monitored.During the composting process,the highest temperature of 54.2℃ and the highest heat generation rate per initial mass of compost dry matter of 4098 kJ kg^(-1) day^(-1) was achieved on day 7.Furthermore,when compared to previous studies,this study achieved a faster thermophilic phase(≥45℃),a longer thermophilic period(4 days),and a higher cumulative temperature.Elementary kinetic analysis was performed based on the TOC profile and evaluated using coefficient correlation(R^(2)).In this study,application of the second-order model resulted in good responses.Low pathogen levels and higher nitrogen content were detected in the final compost,while some of the nutrients were not in the recommended range.An estimated ragi cost of RM 1.22 was required for every 1 kg of compost with a selling price of RM 6.00/kg of compost. 展开更多
