The ROSA package was hybrid integrated with a planar lightwave circuit arrayed waveguide grating(AWG) with 2% refractive index difference and a four-channel top-illuminated positive-intrinsicnegative photodetector(PD) array. The output waveguides of the AWG were designed in a multimode structure to provide flat-top optical spectra, and their end facet was angle-polished to form a total internal reflection interface to realize vertical coupling with a PD array. The maximum responsivity of ROSA was about 0.4 A/W, and its 3 dB bandwidth of frequency response was up to 20 GHz for each transmission lane. The hybrid integrated ROSA would be a cost-effective and easy-assembling solution for 100 Gb E data center interconnections.展开更多
The application of extracellular vesicles,particularly exosomes(EXs),is rapidly expanding in the field of medicine,owing to their remarkable properties as natural carriers of biological cargo.This study investigates u...The application of extracellular vesicles,particularly exosomes(EXs),is rapidly expanding in the field of medicine,owing to their remarkable properties as natural carriers of biological cargo.This study investigates utilization of exosomes derived from stromal cells of tumor adjacent normal tissues(NAF-EXs)for personalized medicine,which can be derived at the time of diagnosis by endoscopic ultrasound.Herein,we show that exosomes(EXs)derived from NAFs demonstrate differential bio-physical characteristics,efficient cellular internalization,drug loading efficiency,pancreatic tumor targeting and delivery of payloads.NAF-derived EXs(NAF-EXs)were used for loading ormeloxifene(ORM),a potent anti-cancer and desmoplasia inhibitor as a model drug.We found that ORM maintains normal fibroblast cell phenotype and renders them incompatible to be triggered for a CAF-like phenotype,which may be due to regulation of Ca^(2+) influx in fibroblast cells.NAF-EXs-ORM effectively blocked oncogenic signaling pathways involved in desmoplasia and epithelial mesenchymal transition(EMT)and repressed tumor growth in xenograft mouse model.In conclusion,our data suggests preferential tropism of NAF-EXs for PDAC tumors,thus imply feasibility of developing a novel personalized medicine for PDAC patients using autologous NAF-EXs for improved therapeutic outcome of anti-cancer drugs.Additionally,it provides the opportunity of utilizing this biological scaffold for effective therapeutics in combination with standard therapeutic regimen.展开更多
The Spodoptera litura occurrence quantity in Tianlong Town,Pingba County,Anshun City was dynamically monitored by an insect sex pheromone electronic measurement and forecast system in 2015 and 2016 and the trapped eff...The Spodoptera litura occurrence quantity in Tianlong Town,Pingba County,Anshun City was dynamically monitored by an insect sex pheromone electronic measurement and forecast system in 2015 and 2016 and the trapped effect of S. litura was studied by the home-made S. litura sex pheromone traps in Baishiyan Town,Ziyun County and Tianlong Town,Pingba County in 2016 to accurately grasp the occurrence regularity of S. litura and apply insect sex pheromone for controlling S. litura in Central Guizhou tobacco-growing region. There are 5 generations of S. litura in a year in Central Guizhou region. The first generation of S.litura occurs from late April to middle May,the second from middle-to-late July to middle-to-late August,the third from early-to-middle August to the end of September,the fourth is in the end of October and the fifth in the end of November. S. litura emigrates or enters into the overwintering stage in December. S. litura is almost in active in the daytime during the peak occurrence period of S. litura adults. The first mating time of S. litura is at 17: 30 and its peak mating time is about 22: 00. The second mating time of S. litura is at 1: 00-5: 00 and its peak mating time is about 2: 30. The trapped S. litura quantity presents an obvious layer-belt distribution that the number in the outer ring is significantly higher than that in the middle ring,and the number in the middle ring is significantly higher than that in the inner ring. The number of trapped S. litura is higher around the outer ring of the testing field and at the draught position than in the low-lying land and inner flat ground.展开更多

Bulk heterojunction organic solar cells (OSCs) based on the blend of poly(2-methoxy-5(2′-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene (MEH-PPV) and [6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) with different weight rat...Bulk heterojunction organic solar cells (OSCs) based on the blend of poly(2-methoxy-5(2′-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene (MEH-PPV) and [6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) with different weight ratios (from 1:3 to 1:5) have been fabricated and the effect of annealing treatment on the performance of OSCs has also been studied. Experimental results point to the best optimized doping concentration 1:4 for MEH-PPV:PCBM. Furthermore, it is found that the devices with annealing treatment at 150°C with 8 min show better performance compared with the devices without treatment. The series resistance (R s) is decreased, while the shunt resistance (R sh) increased by nearly 1.5 times. The short-circuit current density (J sc) and fill factor (FF) are improved by annealing treatment. As a result, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the devices increases from 0.49 % to 1.21 % with the ratio of 1:3 and from 1.09% to 1.42% with the ratio of 1:4.展开更多
All-inorganic CsPbIBr2perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted considerable research attention in recent years due to their excellent thermal stability.However,their power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)are relatively...All-inorganic CsPbIBr2perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted considerable research attention in recent years due to their excellent thermal stability.However,their power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)are relatively low and still far below the theoretical limit.Here,we report the use of an organic dye molecule(namely VG1-C8)as a bifunctional interlayer between perovskite and the hole-transport layer in CsPbIBr2PSCs.Combined experimental and theoretical calculation results disclose that the multiple Lewis base sites in VG1-C8 can effectively passivate the trap states on the perovskite films.Meanwhile,theπ-conjugated dye molecule significantly accelerates the hole extraction from the perovskite absorber as evidenced by the photoluminescence analysis.Consequently,the VG1-C8 treatment simultaneously boosts the photovoltage and photocurrent density values from 1.26 V and 10.80 mA cm^(-2) to 1.31 V and 12.44 m A cm^(-2),respectively.This leads to a significant enhancement of PCE from 9.20%to12.10%under one sun irradiation(AM 1.5G).To our knowledge,this is the record efficiency reported so far for CsPbIBr_(2) PSCs.Thus,the present work demonstrates an effective interfacial passivation strategy for the development of highly efficient PSCs.展开更多
