Objective:To investigate the effect of acupuncture onset time and synaptic structure in two different models of depression.Methods:A total of 150 healthy male adult SPF C57BL/6J mice were divided into five time-point ...Objective:To investigate the effect of acupuncture onset time and synaptic structure in two different models of depression.Methods:A total of 150 healthy male adult SPF C57BL/6J mice were divided into five time-point groups:1 h,3 h,6 h,12 h and 24 h.Each time-point group was further divided into three groups:the model,scopolamine and acupuncture groups with 10 rats each.Rats were given forced swimming stimulation(15 min,once)before the intervention.A total of 200 healthy male adult specific pathogen-free(SPF)Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were divided into 30 normal rats,and 170 modelling ones.A total of 90 rats were successfully modeled,and were randomly divided into three time-point groups:1 h,6 h and 24 h.And each time-point group was further divided into the normal,model,scopolamine,and acupuncture group.Chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)combined with individual feeding was used to establish the depressed rat model.The sucrose preference test(SPT)and open field test(OFT)were used to evaluate the success of the model.There were 10 rats in each group.The acupuncture intervention was performed once for 20 min on"Baihui(GV20)","Yintang(GV29)","Hegu(LI4)",and"Taichong(LR3)"without any other operations for the corresponding animals.Other groups were given corresponding medications.According to different time points,the forced swimming test(FST)was conducted in mice,and the FST and novelty-suppressed feeding test(NSFT)were measured in rats.Monoamine neurotransmitters(NE,DA,DOPAC,5-HT,5-HIAA,HVA)in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus were detected with high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The expression of synapsin I,PSD95,p-mTOR,mTOR,and BDNF in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus was determined by western blot.Results:At the 1 h time point,compared with the model group,the immobility time was significantly decreased in the acupuncture group(P<0.05).At 3 h,6 h,12 h,and 24 h,compared with the model group,the immobility time was significantly reduced in both scopolamine and acupuncture groups(P<0.05).At the 1展开更多
Combining the dark matter and muon g-2 anomaly,we study the U(1)Lμ-Lτbreaking phase transition,gravitational wave spectra,and direct detection at the LHC in an extra U(1)Lμ-Lτgauge symmetry extension of the standa...Combining the dark matter and muon g-2 anomaly,we study the U(1)Lμ-Lτbreaking phase transition,gravitational wave spectra,and direct detection at the LHC in an extra U(1)Lμ-Lτgauge symmetry extension of the standard model.The new fields include vector-like leptons(E1,E2,N),the U(1)Lμ-Lτbreaking scalar S,and the gauge boson Z’,as well as the dark matter candidate XI and its heavy partner XR.A joint explanation of the dark matter relic density and muon g-2 anomaly excludes the region where both min(mE1,mE2,mN,mXR)and min(mZ’,mS)are much larger than mXI.In the parameter space accommodating the DM relic density and muon g-2 anomaly,the model can achieve a first-order U(1)Lμ-Lτbreaking phase transition,whose strength is sensitive to the parameters of the Higgs potential.The corresponding gravitational wave spectra can reach the sensitivity of UDECIGO.In addition,the direct searches at the LHC impose stringent bounds on the mass spectra of the vector-like leptons and dark matter.展开更多

Manipulation of quantum coherence of light in the temporal domain enables the production of the single-photon source, which has become one of the most important quantum resources. High-order quantum coherence in the spatial domain plays a crucial role in a variety of applications, such as quantum imaging, holography, and microscopy. However, the active control of second-order spatial quantum coherence remains a challenging task. Here we predict theoretically and demonstrate experimentally the first active manipulation of second-order spatial quantum coherence,which exhibits the capability of switching between bunching and anti-bunching, by mapping the entanglement of spatially structured photons. We also show that signal processing based on quantum coherence exhibits robust resistance to intensity disturbance. Our findings not only enhance existing applications but also pave the way for broader utilization of higher-order spatial quantum coherence.展开更多
We demonstrate coherent optical frequency dissemination over a distance of 972 km by cascading two spans where the phase noise is passively compensated for.Instead of employing a phase discriminator and a phase lockin...We demonstrate coherent optical frequency dissemination over a distance of 972 km by cascading two spans where the phase noise is passively compensated for.Instead of employing a phase discriminator and a phase locking loop in the conventional active phase control scheme,the passive phase noise cancellation is realized by feeding double-trip beat-note frequency to the driver of the acoustic optical modulator at the local site.This passive scheme exhibits fine robustness and reliability,making it suitable for long-distance and noisy fiber links.An optical regeneration station is used in the link for signal amplification and cascaded transmission.The phase noise cancellation and transfer instability of the 972-km link is investigated,and transfer instability of 1.1×10^(-19)at 10^(4)s is achieved.This work provides a promising method for realizing optical frequency distribution over thousands of kilometers by using fiber links.展开更多
