The transformation from hexacelsian to celsian, the microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites was investigated. The results show that the transformation promoted by adding celsian seeds is retarded in the composite by the presence of SiC whisker. SiC whisker has a good effect of improving the mechanical properties of BAS glass ceramic matrix. The toughening mechanisms are crack deflection and whisker fracture. The strengthening mechanism is loading transition. The amorphous phase at SiC W/BAS matrix interface damages the fracture toughness and high temperature strength of the composites.展开更多

For achieving direct integration, a barrier layer is essential to be inserted between LIB and the substrate for blocking Li^+ diffusion. In this paper, the feasibility of thermal SiOa film as the barrier layer is investigated by electrochemical characterization and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Due to the negligible side reactions of thermal SiO2 with electrolyte, the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layer formed on the surface of the barrier layer is thin and the SEI content mainly consists of hydrocarbon together with slight polyethylene oxide (PEO), LixPOyFz, and Li2CO3. Although 8-nm thermal SiO2 effectively prevents the substrate from alloying with Li^+, the whole film changes to Li silicate after electrochemical cycling due to the irreversible chemical reactions of SiO2 with electrolyte. This degrades the performance of the barrier layer against the electrolyte penetration, thus leading to the existence of Li^+ (in the form of F-Si-Li) and solvent decompositions (with the products of hydrocarbon and PEO) near the barrier layer/substrate interface. Moreover, it is found that the reaction kinetics of thermal SiO2 with electrolyte decrease significantly with increasing the SiO2 thickness and no reactions are found in the bulk of the 30-nm SiO2 film. Therefore, thermal SiO2 with an appropriate thickness is a promising barrier layer for direct integration.展开更多

Theoretical equilibrium compositions at different operation conditions were calculated using an iterative method. It was found that with Ca(OH)2 as the CO2 sorbent, the concentration of CO2 adsorption was reduced in the product stream, that gave rise to higher methane conversion and higher H2 concentration. An experimental setup was built to test the theoretical calculation. The effects of sorbents and the particle size of Ca(OH)2 on the concentration of CO2 and H2 were investigated in detail. Results showed that the reactor packed with catalyst and Ca(OH)2 particles produced H2 concentration of 94%. It was nearly 96% of the theoretical equilibrium limit, much higher than H2 equilibrium concentration of 67.5% without CO2 sorption under the same conditions of 500℃, 0.2 MPa pressure and a steam-to-methane ratio 6. By adopting the principle of minimum acceleration for elastic-plastic continue at finite deformation, and with the aid of finite difference method, the proposed model is applied in the problem of dynamic response of a clamped thin circular plate subjected to a projectile impact centrally. The impact force history and response characteristics of the target plate is studied in detail. The theoretical predictions of the impact force and plate deflection are in good agreements with those of LDA experimental data. Linear expressions of the maximum impact force/transverse deflection versus impact velocity are given on the basis of the theoretical results.展开更多

文摘The variation of stacking fault energy(SFE)in a number of binary Cu alloys is predicted through considering the Suzuki segregation by the full potential linearly augmented plane wave(FPLAPW)method. The calculated results show that some solute atoms(Mg,Al,Si,Zn,Ga,Ge,Cd,Sn,and Pb),which prefer to form the Suzuki segregation, may decrease the value of SFE;while the others(Ti,Mn,Fe,Ni,Zr,Ag,and Au),which do not cause the Suzuki segregation may not decrease the SFE.Furthermore,it is interesting to find that the former alloying elements are located on the right of Cu group while the latter on the left of Cu group in the periodic table of elements. The intrinsic reasons for the new findings can be traced down to the valences electronic structure of solute and Cu atoms,i.e.,the similarity of valence electronic structure between solute and Cu atoms increases the value of SFE,while the difference decreases the value of SFE.

文摘Background Each GECAM satellite payload contains 25 gamma-ray detectors(GRDs),which can detect gamma-rays and particles and can roughly localize the Gamma-Ray Bursts(GRBs).GRD was designed using lanthanum bromide(LaBr3)crystal as the sensitive material with the rear end coupled with silicon photomultiplier(SiPM)array for readout.Purpose In aerospace engineering design of GRD,there are many key points to be studied. In this paper,we present the specific design scheme of GRD,the assembly and the performance test results of detectors. Methods Based on Monte Carlo simulation and experimental test results, the specific schematic design and assembling process of GRD were optimized. After being fully assembled, the GRDs were conducted performance tests by using radioactive source and also conducted random vibration tests.Result and conclusion The test results show that all satellite-borne GRDs have energy resolution<16%at 59.5 keV,meeting requirements of satellite in scientific performance. The random vibration test shows that GRD can maintain in a stable performance, which meets the requirement of spatial application.

文摘Introduction The main physical objective of the GECAM satellite is to detect gamma-ray bursts, which is related to gravitational waves of double compact object mergers. The GECAM satellite also detects and investigates various bursts of high-energy celestial bodies.Purposes and methods In this study,we designed, developed and calibrated the payload and launched it into orbit with GECAM satellite. The payload consists of the gamma ray detector(GRD,for detecting 4 keV–4 MeV X/γray),the charged particle detector(CPD,for detecting 150 keV–5 MeV charged particle),and the electronic box(EBOX).The all-sky field coverage is achieved via two 229-degree large-area satellites positioned 180 degrees apart and are on opposite sides of the geo-center.Each satellite is equipped with 25 GRDs and 8 CPDs;thus, the satellite can identify charged particle bursts in space.Gamma-ray detectors adopt lanthanum bromide crystal technology combined with silicon photomultipliers. This is the first time that this technology was used massively in space detectors. Conclusions The GECAM satellite can quickly determine the direction of gamma-ray bursts(positioning)via indexing and fitting method, while the transmit variability, energy spectrum and direction of the gamma-ray bursts guide subsequent observations through the Beidou-3 RDSS in quasi-real time.It will play an important role in the study of high energy celestial bursts.

文摘Background The Gravitational wave highly energetic Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor(GECAM)is dedicated to detecting gravitational wave gamma-ray bursts. It is capable of all-sky monitoring over and discovering gamma-ray bursts and new radiation phenomena.GECAM consists of two microsatellites, each equipped with 8 charged particle detectors(CPDs)and 25 gamma-ray detectors(GRDs).Purpose The CPD is used to measure charged particles in the space environment, monitor energy and flow intensity changes, and identify between gamma-ray bursts and space charged particle events in conjunction with GRD.Methods CPD uses plastic scintillator as the sensitive material for detection, silicon photomultiplier array as the optically readable device, and the inlaid Am-241 radioactive source as the onboard calibration means. Conclusion In this paper,we will present the working principle, physical design, functional implementation and preliminary performance test results of the CPD.As a result, the energy range of electron,gamma-ray detection efficiency and dead time are tested to be better than the indexes required through the ground calibration experiment.

文摘The development of multi-principal element alloys(MPEAs,also called as high-or medium-entropy al-loys,HEAs/MEAs)provides tremendous possibilities for materials innovation. However, designing MPEAs with desirable mechanical properties confronts great challenges due to their vast composition space. In this work,we provide an essential criterion to efficiently screen the CoCrNi MEAs with outstanding strength-ductility combinations. The negative Gibbs free energy difference△E_(FCC-BCC)between the face-centered cubic(FCC)and body-centered cubic(BCC)phases, the enhancement of shear modulus G and the decline of stacking fault energy(SFE)γ_(isf)are combined as three requisites to improve the FCC phase stability, yield strength, deformation mechanisms,work-hardening ability and ductility in the criterion. The effects of chemical composition on△E_(FCC-BCC),G andγisf were investigated with the first principles calculations for Co_(x)Cr_(33)Ni_(67-x),Co_(33)Cr_(y)Ni_(67-y)and Co_(z)Cr_(66-z)Ni_(34)(0≤x,y≤67 and 0≤z≤66)alloys.Based on the essential criterion and the calculation results, the composition space that displays the neg-ative Gibbs free energy difference△E_(FCC-BCC),highest shear modulus G and lowest SFEγ_(isf)was screened with the target on the combination of high strength and excellent ductility. In this context, the optimal composition space of Co-Cr-Ni alloys was predicted as 60 at.%-67 at.%Co,30 at.%-35 at.%Cr and 0 at.%-6 at.%Ni,which coincides well with the previous experimental evidence for Co_(55)Cr_(40)Ni_(5)alloys.The valid-ity of essential criterion is further proved after systematic comparison with numerous experimental data, which demonstrates that the essential criterion can provide significant guidance for the quick exploitation of strong and ductile MEAs and promote the development and application of MPEAs.

文摘A new elastic-plastic impact-contact model is proposed in this paper. Linear expressions of the maximum impact force/transverse deflection versus impact velocity are given on the basis of the theoretical results.

文摘Purpose Observation of high energy and very high emission from Gamma Ray Bursts(GRBs)is crucial to study the gigantic explosion and the underline processes. With a large field-of-view and almost full duty cycle, the Water Cherenkov Detector Array(WCDA),a sub-array of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO),is appropriate to monitor the very high energy emission from unpredictable transients such as GRBs.Method Nevertheless, the main issue for an extensive air shower array is the high energy threshold which limits the horizon of the detector. To address this issue a new trigger method is developed in this article to lower the energy threshold of WCDA for GRB observation.Result The proposed method significantly improves the detection efficiency of WCDA for gamma-rays around the GRB direction at 10-300 GeV.The sensitivity of the WCDA for GRB detection with the new trigger method is estimated. The achieved sensitivity of the quarter WCDA array above 10 GeV is comparable with that of Fermi-LAT.The data analysis process and corresponding fluence upper limit for GRB 190719C is presented as an example.

文摘Background The Gravitational wave high-energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor(GECAM)satellite developed a SiPM-based gamma-ray detector to monitor the gravitational wave-related GRBs and guide subsequent observations in other wavelengths of EM.Purpose As all the available SiPM devices belong to commercial grade, quality assurance tests need to be performed in accordance with the aerospace specifcations. Methods In the SiPM application of GECAM,quality assurance experiments were conducted. The mechanism of the failure of SiPM devices was analyzed during the development process.Result Based on the quality assurance test results, the fnal pass rate of SiPM array was 95%.Based on the failure analysis,it was found that a piece of SiPM had a leakage channel after longtime operation due to device defects. Conclusion According to the accumulated experience,in the reliability test of SiPM,it is necessary to pay special attention to test the impedance of each pin of SiPM to ground and confrm that the power switch state of SiPM is controllable.
