Water stress-induced ABA accumulation plays a key role in the root to shoot communication and/or the cell to cell signaling under the soil stresses. The signaling of the water stress itself that leads to the accumulation, however, is less known. In this study, we subjected the roots of Malus hupehensis seedlings to water stress treatment and investigated the ABA accumulation in relation to protein phos-phorylation. Our results showed that ABA accumulation could be substantially triggered in 40 min and reached 4 folds in 100 min after treatment with 30% PEG 6000 (polyethylene glycol). The water stress treatment also led to a substantial enhancement of total kinase activity, assessed with histone-111 as substrate, in 15 min and a maximum enhancement in 30 min before it declined to initial level. The Ca2+-dependent kinase activity showed a similar, if not more sensitive, trend. Vegetative growth of young apple trees trained in vertical axis were studied with ' Red Fuji', 'Jonagold', 'Orin' and ' Starkrimson' on M7, MM106, M26 interstocks in northern China. About 30 branches sprouted from the central leader of the trees during the 4 years after planting for ' Red Fuji' and 'Jonagold', and 26.7 and 20 branches respectively for 'Orin' and 'Starkrimson'. Moreover the 2-year-old section of the central leader had the strongest capacity to sprout new branches (and sometimes the 1-year-old section too), and sprouted more new shoots than the other section. The total new shoots including spurs on the 4-year-old trees reached 631 per tree for 'Jonagold', about 480 for 'Red Fuji' and 'Orin', and 312 for 'Starkrimson'. Percentage of spurs was about 61% for 'Red Fuji', 73% for 'Jonagold' and 'Orin', and 81% for 'Starkrimson'. Growth vigor of the central leader and limbs of the young apple trees could quickly decline: the growth of the central leader decreased markedly in the fourth year after planting, and branches from the central leader grew vigorously only in the current growth season or in the first two years after branching. 展开更多

【目的】研究改变击实次数,获取不同击数下的击实功,结合无侧限抗压强度试验及抗压回弹模量试验分析不同击实功对新疆非耕地固化戈壁土力学性能的影响,为新疆日光温室固化戈壁土墙体填筑施工提供一定的数据支持和理论依据。【方法】依... 【目的】研究改变击实次数,获取不同击数下的击实功,结合无侧限抗压强度试验及抗压回弹模量试验分析不同击实功对新疆非耕地固化戈壁土力学性能的影响,为新疆日光温室固化戈壁土墙体填筑施工提供一定的数据支持和理论依据。【方法】依据《土工试验方法标准》GB50123-1999、《公路工程无机结合料稳定材料实验规程》(JTGE51-2009)的测试要求,采用颗粒分析试验、击实试验测定土体的颗粒级配、类别和击实性能,研究戈壁土固化前的物理性能,进一步测定固化土不同龄期的抗压强度、抗压回弹模量试验。【结果】(1)随着击实功的增加,固化戈壁土最优含水率减小,最大干密度增大。(2)固化戈壁土试件的无侧限抗压强度在养护龄期7~60d期间随击实功的增加而增加,当养护龄期到60~90d时标准击实数及以上的击实功所得到的无侧限抗压强度变化不大。(3)固化戈壁土在同一养护龄期内随着击实功的增加抗压回弹模量增大,在同一击实功下,抗压回弹模量随着固化戈壁土养护龄期的增加呈增长趋势。【结论】25%的标准击实功的固化戈壁土在养护7d龄期时的无侧限抗压强度为5.34MPa,满足日光温室墙体对强度(5.0MPa)的需求,可以节约施工成本和加快施工进度。 展开更多

The fruit growth evolution on 35 tagged 'Fuji' apple trees was studied in three successive growing seasons from 1994 to 1996 to explore a new method for forecasting the fruit diameter at harvest during early growing season. Daily fruit growth rate (DFGR) (based on fruit diameter, fruit dry weight, fruit fresh weight, or fruit volume) during the early growing season, 30 - 50 d after full bloom (DAFB), or during mid-growing season (60-120 DAFB), displayed a strong positive linear correlation with the fruit diameter at harvest, and the correlation between the fruit diameter at harvest and DFGR during early and mid-growing season was much better than that between the fruit diameter at harvest and either fruit diameter at a given time or the relative growth rate during early or mid-growing season. The fruit diameters obtained in the field were compared with the mean fruit diameters estimated based on different criteria, such as DFGRs (based on fruit diameter, fruit dry weight, fruit fresh weight, or fruit volume) during early and mid-growing season, and fruit diameter at 120 DAFB. Results showed that daily growth rate of fruit diameter during 30 - 50 DAFB was the best criterion for forecasting fruit diameter at harvest. There was no significant difference in mean fruit diameter between the value measured in the field at harvest and that estimated based on the daily growth rate of fruit diameter during 30 - 50 DAFB (equations for forecasting: y = 153.571 x + 73.492) either for the individual trees or for different vigor groups of trees. Daily growth rate of fruit diameter during 30 - 50 DAFB can be used as the basis for forecasting fruit diameter at harvest. 展开更多

Previous reports have noted that plant miRNAs in the pl... microRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous, non-coding, short (~21 nt) RNAs directly involved in regulating gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. Previous reports have noted that plant miRNAs in the plant kingdom are highly conserved, which provides the foundation for identification of conserved miRNAs in other plant species through homology alignment. Conserved miRNAs in wheat are identified using EST (Expressed Sequence Tags) and GSS analysis. All previously known miRNAs in other plant species were blasted against wheat EST and GSS sequences to select novel miRNAs in wheat by a series of filtering criteria. From a total of 37 conserved miRNAs belonging to 18 miRNA families 10 conserved miRNAs comprising 4 families were reported in wheat. MiR395 is found to be a special family, because three members belonging to the same miR395 family are clustered together, similar to animal miRNAs. MiRNA targets are transcription factors involved in wheat growth and development, metabolism,and stress responses. 展开更多

【目的】测试新疆三种典型日光温室戈壁土墙体土样进行固化性能,分析戈壁土固化前后的力学性能和硫酸盐侵蚀后的强度的变化规律,为新疆非耕地墙体固化方案提供理论依据。【方法】依据《土工试验方法标准》GB 50123-1999、《土力学实验... 【目的】测试新疆三种典型日光温室戈壁土墙体土样进行固化性能,分析戈壁土固化前后的力学性能和硫酸盐侵蚀后的强度的变化规律,为新疆非耕地墙体固化方案提供理论依据。【方法】依据《土工试验方法标准》GB 50123-1999、《土力学实验》和《土工试验规程》SL 237-1999的测试要求[1-3],采用颗粒分析试验、击实试验测定土体的颗粒级配、类别和击实性能,研究戈壁土固化前的物理性能,测定固化土的抗压强度、硫酸盐侵蚀后的强度。【结果】(1)三种戈壁土土样均为圆砾,根据特征粒径得出土样的不均匀系数Cu和曲率系数Cc表明2号土样的级配最好,其次为3号土样,1号土样的级配最差。(2)掺入15%的土壤固化料,与原状土相比,1号土样的最大干密度ρd和最优含水率wop增加最为显著,分别为0. 046%、0. 017%。(3)戈壁土随固化剂掺量的增加,胶凝材料越多,固化土越密实,抗压强度越大。(4) 90 d侵蚀试验中,固化土随侵蚀周期的增长,抗压强度越大。【结论】HEC固化剂对新疆常用的日光温室墙体建材具有显著的固化效果,其抗压强度和抗硫酸盐效果满足土墙温室墙体建造要求,固化后的墙体坚固耐腐蚀,降低了温室的维护成本,有效延长了温室的使用寿命。 展开更多

Different temperatures and PEF packing treatments were carried out on postharvest Huanghua pear fruit to investigate their effects on fruit storability and the regulatory mechanism. LOX activity, O2- content, AOS activity, ACC synthase activity, ACC content, ACC oxidase activity and ethylene production changed with peaks in the ripening fruit at 20℃ and were inhibited by cold storage, incidence of fruit woolness and fruit decay were lightened as well. Low temperature combined with PEF packing (PEF1 and PEF2) treatments could further improve the fruit storability, maintain preferable quality. There was no significant difference between PEF1 and PEF2 both during cold storage at 1℃ and shelf life at 20℃. The recommended storage period of Huanghua fruit was two months at It and could be extended one month longer with PEF packing treatments. 展开更多

本文以怀来地区红地球为试材,对新建葡萄园进行防渗与非防渗栽培处理,分析葡萄出土后的土壤含水量及灌溉量。研究发现,采用防渗栽培可有效提高土壤含水量,春季葡萄出土时地下15~60 cm土壤含水量显著增加,地下40~60 cm土壤含水量达到14%... 本文以怀来地区红地球为试材,对新建葡萄园进行防渗与非防渗栽培处理,分析葡萄出土后的土壤含水量及灌溉量。研究发现,采用防渗栽培可有效提高土壤含水量,春季葡萄出土时地下15~60 cm土壤含水量显著增加,地下40~60 cm土壤含水量达到14%,与对照相比提高5%,可满足葡萄生长发育需要;土壤水分流失速度明显低于对照,防渗栽培地下15~60 cm土壤含水量12%时的天数比对照增加7 d以上,防渗栽培葡萄灌溉日数与对照相比可延长一周,年灌溉量降低了34.4%,可以有效地起到节水效果。 展开更多

Sugar Baby susceptible to Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.niveum was crossed with high resistant male parents D3-1 and D3-2,respectively.F1 hybrids showed high resistance.The segregation ratios of resistance to susceptibility of F2 and of BC1 hybrid population from Sugar Baby tallied with 3:1 and 1:1,respectively.The results indicated that the resistance to Fusarium wilt was a kind of dominant inheritance controlled by mono-gene or mono-segment DNA.Furthermore,5 hybrid combinations with fine character were bred.Among them,3 were high resistant to Fusarium wilt,and 2 were medium resistant. 展开更多
