In China,“Adolescence”(qingnian) as a young people’s pattern formed from 1910s’ is a role category that functioned before 1980s’.But now it has lost the function that it had.In the present society of China,“child”,“adolescence” and “student” are the most roles that young people are playing.展开更多
In Japan, from beginning of 1980s to 2000, “new human”, “otaku”, and “hikikomori”(autism) have become the symbols of the youth culture and the problem of youth. The problems of youth are concerned with the trend...In Japan, from beginning of 1980s to 2000, “new human”, “otaku”, and “hikikomori”(autism) have become the symbols of the youth culture and the problem of youth. The problems of youth are concerned with the trend of young people’s personalization. The “personalization” here means that the band between young people and their family and other social groups become loose. They live in society only as one individual. In the process of modernization in Japanese society, social privatization occurred. But within the value system of Japan, person is not on an equality with the state and social group. Then the individualization, the result of the social privatization is the release of selfish desire. This problem affects young people’s behavior mode, and brings them some characteristics such as autism in family and lack of self discipline.展开更多
