Growth at-mosphere control has been introduced to compensate for the Zn depletion in the melt during solidification.Theoretical calculations indicate that it is difficult to grow CdZnTe crystals with high Zn content and is diffi-cult to obtain uniform axial Zn distribution under Cd / Zn condensed mixture reservoir.
