As the main users of social media, college students’ self-awareness is also continuously evolving. They are significantly influenced by society, the internet and the school. The self-presentation of this group in the online space has become more diversified and distinctive. From the perspective of the dramaturgical theory and with the self-presentation of college students on social media as the starting point, this study analyzes the front stage and back stage in social media, examines the role types and influencing factors of college students’ self-presentation behaviors, explores the positive or negative effects that this process brings to college students, and guides the college student group to recognize the essence of self-image presentation behaviors in social media and learn to better present their individuality and construct themselves in the online environment.展开更多
