The important contents of escalation in manufacturing industry are import substituting, while the main characteristics of trade structure escalation are the presence of intra -- industry trade. To make an enormous leap forward, China’s industrialization needs to take the opportunity for China’s entry into WTO. China’s deep -- rooted dual industrial structure lies, fundamentally, in the existence of the equilibrium of selfreliance on the one hand, and on the other, the existence of markets that are on too low a level. The shock of the entry into WTO on China’s agriculture will be unavoidable, but it will contribute to using ext3ernal forces to disturb the equilibrium of self -- reliance and to push jour peasants, to a greater degree and in a wider scope, into the market economy. The conspicuous feature of the backwardness of China’ 8 service industry is the lag in the development of finance and telecommunication--basically because of the presence of national monopoly in these lines. Not only win china’s entry into WTO provide a huge potential service market to foreign capital, but also will offer China some favourable conditions under which she will resort to foreign forces to break monopoly and speed up the growth of modern service sections.展开更多
