The novel chiral cyclopalladated compound 2 was synthesized from the reaction of L-valinol derived ferrocenylaldimine 1 with Li2PdCl4/NaOAc followed by treatment with triphenylphosphine.2 was characterized by elementa...The novel chiral cyclopalladated compound 2 was synthesized from the reaction of L-valinol derived ferrocenylaldimine 1 with Li2PdCl4/NaOAc followed by treatment with triphenylphosphine.2 was characterized by elemental analysis,ESI-MS,IR,()1H NMR,specific rotation and singlecrystal X-ray diffraction.The crystal of 2 contains two diastereoners with different planar chirality.It is monocline,space group P21 with Mr:787.23,a=1.0239(2)nm,b=3.2439(7)nm,c=1.0680(2)nm,α=γ=90°,β=90.12(3)°,V=3.5473(12)nm3,Z=4,Dc=1.474g/cm3,F(000)=1600.The final R1=0.0455,wR2=0.0951.X-ray analysis also reveals that the compound 2 has a one-dimensional chain structure.展开更多
