Pairing correlations are taken into account by a density-dependent δ-force with the pairing strength for protons determined by fitting either to the experimental binding energy or to the odd-even mass difference from the five-point formula. The effects of pairing correlations on the formation of proton halo in the ground state of 9C are examined. The possible existence of magnetic rotation is suggested for ^22F via investigating the spectra, the relation between the rotational frequency and the angular momentum, the electromagnetic transition probabilities B( M1) and /3(E2) together with the shears mechanism characteristic of magnetic rotation. It is found t...Effects of core polarization and tensor coupling on the magnetic moments in A^13 C, A^17O, and A^41 Ca A-hypernuclei are studied by employing the Dirac equation with scalar, vector and tensor potentials. It is found that the effect of core polarization on the magnetic moments is suppressed by A tensor coupling. The A tensor potential reduces the spin-orbit splitting of pA states considerably. However, almost the same magnetic moments are obtained using the hyperon wavefunction obtained via the Dirac equation either with or without the A tensor potential in the electromagnetic current vertex. The deviations of magnetic moments for PA states from the Schmidt values are found to increase with nuclear mass number.展开更多

Tje global dynamical correlation energies for 575 even even nuclei with proton numbers ranging from Z = 8 to Z = 108 calculated with the covariant density functional theory using the PC-PK1 parametrization are present...Tje global dynamical correlation energies for 575 even even nuclei with proton numbers ranging from Z = 8 to Z = 108 calculated with the covariant density functional theory using the PC-PK1 parametrization are presented. The dynamical correlation energies include the rotational correction energies obtained with the cranking approximation and the quadrupole vibrational correction energies. The systematic behavior of the present correlation energies is in good agreement with that obtained from the projected generator coordinate method using the SLy4 Skyrme force although our values are systematically smaller. After including the dynamical correlation energies, the root- mean-square deviation predicted by the PC-PK1 for the 575 even-even nuclei masses is reduced from 2.58 MeV to 1.24 MeV.展开更多

The underlying Lagrangian is a point coupling model and pairing correlations are taken into account by a monopole force. This method is applied for the low-lying excited states in ^24Mg. Good agreement with the experimental data is found for the ground state properties. A minimum in the potential energy surface for the 22^+ state, with β≈ 0.55,7 γ≈ 10^o, is used as the basis to investigate the rotational energy spectrum as well as the corresponding B(E2) transition probabilities as compared to the available data.展开更多

Using this approach the same effective nucleon-nucleon interaction is adopted to describe both the single-particle and collective motions in nuclei.
