【Abstract】As an artist, Wu Yinxian made outstanding contributions to Chi-nese film, and fully deserves the title of a master photographer.Entering Western Painting Department, Shanghai Painting Train-ing School at h...【Abstract】As an artist, Wu Yinxian made outstanding contributions to Chi-nese film, and fully deserves the title of a master photographer.Entering Western Painting Department, Shanghai Painting Train-ing School at his early years, he accepted professional and rigorous training on painting.In the 193Os f he first engaged film in Shanghai Tianyi Film Stu-dio, and shot several motion pictures, generally considered as master pieces, including Feng Yun Er Nu, City Glamor, and Street Angel’In 1937, he went t0 Yan’an, as photographer of Yan’an Film Or- ganization, under the leadership of the General Political Department of the Eighth Route Army. At that time, he took a large amount 0f ph0-tographs and documentaries, recording Chinese revolutionary history,as well as the senior revolutionists. ln 1956, he began t0 hold the 0f fice 0f deputy president of Beijing Film Academy, mainly in charge of Photography Department.During his stay in the academy, he gave lectures in 15 different cities, and wrote abundant展开更多
