Method Four hundred fifty one cases of gluteus contracture accepted surgical treatment during 1990~1998 in Ruijin Hospital were analyzed retrospectively. Results Twenty nine of them were PTGC (6.4%). 22 cases were followed up in a period 2~8 years has satisfactory results. Conclusions The key point for good results is the contractures of middle gluteal muscle and least gluteal muscle that has been relaxed completely and to conserve their function of abduction.展开更多
