However, it is not yet known whether electroencephalography can predict development of post-cerebral infarc- tion depression. A total of 321 patients with ischemic stroke underwent electroencephalography and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale assessment to analyze the relationship between electroencephalography and post-cerebral infarction depression. Our results show that electroencephalograms of ischemic stroke patients with depression exhibit low-amplitude alpha activity and slow theta activity. In con- trast, electroencephalograms of ischemic stroke patients without depression show fast beta activity and slow delta activity. "Ihese findings confirm that low-amplitude alpha activity and slow theta activity can be considered as independent predictors for post-cerebral infarction depression.展开更多

A combined Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative operator is defined, and a fractional Hamilton principle under this definition is established. The fractional Lagrange equations and the fractional Hamilton canonical equations are derived from the fractional Hamilton principle. A number of special cases are given, showing the universality of our conclusions. At the end of the paper, an example is given to illustrate the application of the results.展开更多

In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition is presented to strictly decrease the quadratic optimal performance index after control input extensions. A similar result is also provided for H2 optimal control problem. These results show an essential difference between single-input and multi-input control systems. Firstly, we put forward a novel dissipative Hamiltonian realization (DHR) structure and give the condition to complete the Hamiltonian realization. Then, based on the DHR, we present a criterion for the stability analysis of NDAS and construct a stabilization controller for NDAS in absence of disturbances. Finally, for NDAS in presence of disturbances, the L2 gain is analyzed via generalized Hamilton-Jacobi inequality and an H∞ control strategy is constructed. The proposed stabilization and robust controller can effectively take advantage of the structural characteristics of NDAS and is simple in form.展开更多

In this paper, the electrical activities and Hamilton energy of neuron are investigated when external mixed signals(i.e., the periodic stimulus current and the periodic electromagnetic field) are imposed on the neuron under the electromagnetic induction. As a result, the Hamilton energy is much dependent on the mode transition, the multiple electric activity modes and the numerical analysis of Hamilton energy are more complicated under various parameters. When the periodic high-low frequency electromagnetic radiation is imposed in neuron, it is found that the electrical activities are more complex, and the changing of energy is obvious. In addition, the response of electrical activity and Hamilton energy is much dependent on the changing of amplitude A, B when the external high-low frequency signal is imposed on the neuron, meanwhile, the energy of bursting state is lower than the one of spiking state. It can be used for investigation about the energy coding in the neuron even the neuron networks.展开更多

In this paper, handicap is defined as the difficulty to survive and reproduce independently. Kin sociality is derived from the childhood handicap-care principle where the children are the handicapped children who receive the care from the kin caregivers in the inclusive kin group to survive. The caregiver gives care for its self-interest to reproduce its gene. The individual’s gene of kin sociality contains the handicapped childhood and the caregiving adulthood. Eusociality is derived from the adulthood handicap-care principle where responsible adults are the handicapped adults who give care and receive care at the same time in the interdependent eusocial group to survive and reproduce its gene. Queen bees reproduce, but must receive care from worker bees that work but must rely on queen bees to reproduce. A caregiver gives care for its self-interest to survive and reproduce its gene. The individual’s gene of eusociality contains the handicapped childhood-adulthood and the caregiving adulthood. The chronological sequence of the sociality evolution is individual sociality without handicap, kin sociality with handicapped childhood, and eusociality with handicapped adulthood. Eusociality in humans is derived from bipedalism and the mixed habitat. The chronological sequence of the eusocial human evolution is 1) the eusocial early hominins with bipedalism and the mixed habitat, 2) the eusocial early Homo species with bipedalism, the larger brain, and the open habitat, 3) the eusocial late Homo species with bipedalism, the largest brain, and the unstable habitat, and 4) extended eusocial Homo sapiens with bipedalism, the shrinking brain, omnipresent imagination, and the harsh habitat. The omnipresence of imagination in human culture converts eusociality into extended eusociality with both perception and omnipre展开更多

And it introduces the ANSYS/LS-DYNA which is the popular FE software for impact problem both at home and abroad. Then it gives solutions for one simple model by analytical method and ANSYS/LS-DYNA respec-tively to validate function of software, and they are consistent. Afterward, it gives model of single-layer Kiewitt reticulated dome with a span of 60 m, and the cylinder impactor, and introduces the contact interface arithmetic, especially the material model of steel (piecewise linear plasticity model) which takes stain rate into account and makes steel failure stress higher under impact loads. The vertical displacement, stress in main members, and the plastic deformation for dome under impact loads were obtained. Then four failure modes (no failure, moderate failure, global failure and slight failure) were summarized according to the rules of dynamic response. And the characteristics of dynamic response for each failure mode were shown.展开更多
