The results indicated that the warm water, the temperature of which was higher than the critical temperature of TGMS lines, was able to keep the male sterility of TGMS lines stable under the conditions of low air temperature which was below the critical temperature. The results of this study provided theoretic basis for applying warm water as an effective measure to prevent the negative effects from low air temperature appeared occasionally in summer in hybrid seed production.展开更多
