CeCl_(3)对工业电解液中镍电沉积层晶粒的细化作用

Effect of CeCl_(3)on Grain Refinement of Nickel Electrodeposited Layer in Industrial Electrolyte

摘要 随着镍箔、镍薄带材在新能源电池中的广泛使用,对镍沉积层微观组织结构和性能有了更高的要求。通过添加剂和电沉积镍生产工艺优化,得到微观组织可调控的镍沉积层,成为电解镍品质提升的重要研究方向。稀土离子由于具有较强的吸附性,在电解沉积过程中可以通过提高形核率、阻碍晶粒长大来改善金属沉积层的组织结构。本文通过向电解镍生产使用工业电解液中添加不同浓度CeCl_(3)盐,借助扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和原子力显微镜(AFM)等分析方法得到镍沉积层晶粒尺寸和分布,当工业电解液中添加CeCl_(3)最佳浓度为0.8 g∙L^(-1)时,对镍沉积层晶粒的细化效果最好;Ce的加入只能使镀层晶粒细化,但不与发生共沉积,Ce的加入只是起到改变镀层组织结构的作用,并且只是以金属形式发挥作用。 With the wide application of nickel foil and strip in new energy batteries,higher requirements for mi⁃crostructure and properties of nickel deposits are required.Through the optimization of additives and electrode⁃posited layer of layer production process,the nickel electrodeposited layer with controllable microstructure has become an important research direction to improve the quality of electrolytic nickel.Due to the strong adsorption of rare earth ions,the microstructure of the electrodeposited layer can be improved by increasing the nucleation rate and hindering the grain growth.In this paper,by adding different concentrations of CeCl_(3)to the industrial electrolyte used in electrolytic nickel production,the grain size and distribution of nickel electrodeposited layer were obtained by means of SEM and AFM.When the optimal concentration of CeCl_(3)in industrial electrolyte is 0.8 g∙L^(-1),the grain refinement effect of nickel electrodeposited layer is the best.The addition of rare earth ele⁃ment Ce can only refine the grain of the electrodeposited layer,but does not co-deposit with Ni element.It only changes the structure of the electrodeposited layer and functions in the form of metal.
