聚丙烯酸丁酯/聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯核壳粒子的制备及在环氧树脂中的分散与增韧 被引量:9

摘要 采用原位乳液聚合法成功合成了具有核壳结构的聚丙烯酸丁酯(PBA)/聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)纳米粒子,研究了其在环氧树脂中的分散。通过红外光谱研究了PBA/PMMA粒子与环氧树脂间的相互反应,粒径测试和扫描电镜分析表明核壳粒子在环氧树脂基体中具有良好的分散性。将其用于环氧树脂增韧,探究了粒子核壳比以及粒子添加量对环氧树脂增韧效果的影响。结果表明,加入PBA/PMMA粒子以后,环氧树脂的冲击强度明显增加,核壳比在1∶1.5以下时,PBA/PMMA核壳比例的变化对环氧树脂冲击强度影响不大。环氧树脂的冲击强度随着粒子含量的增加而增加,核壳比为1∶1.5的PBA/PMMA核壳粒子添加量在15%时,其冲击强度可达到为23.2 kJ/m^2,是纯环氧树脂的2.7倍且拉伸强度无明显下降。 Polybutyl acrylate(PBA)/polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)nanoparticles with core-shell structure were successfully synthesized by in situ emulsion polymerization.Their dispersion performance in epoxy resin was investigated.The interaction between PBA/PMMA particles and epoxy resin was studied by infrared spectroscopy.The results from the particle size measurement and scanning electron microscopy show that core-shell particles show good dispersion in the epoxy resin matrix.The effects of core-shell ratio and the amounts of PBA/PMMA nanoparticles on toughening epoxy resin were investigated.The results show that the impact strength of epoxy resin is obviously increased after the addition of PBA/PMMA core-shell particles,and the PBA/PMMA core-shell ratio has little effect on the impact strength of epoxy resin when the core shell ratio is less than 1∶1.5.The impact strength of epoxy resin increases with the increment of particle content in epoxy resin.When the mass fraction of PBA/PMMA core-shell particles with the core-shell ratio of 1∶1.5 is 15%,the impact strength of epoxy resin reaches 23.2 kJ/m^2,which is 2.7 times higher than that of pure epoxy resin.
