摘要
本文介绍了机动车外廓尺寸测量装置在机动车查验工作中应用的背景、阶段特点，阐述了机动车外廓尺寸测量装置的组成、功能、应用原理以及与查验智能终端联网工作形成的闭环管控。机动车外廓尺寸测量装置在机动车查验工作中的应用，极大地提升了机动车查验的工作效率、准确性以及公正性，实现了机动车查验工作的全过程监督，取得了良好的社会效果。
This paper introduced the background of the application of the vehicle external dimension measuring device in the motor vehicle inspection field and the characteristics at different application stages, and described the construction, the function and the application principles of the measuring device as well as the closed_loop control formed through its networking with the smart inspection terminals. The application of the measuring device in motor vehicle inspection field has greatly improved work efficiency, accuracy and fairness of motor vehicle inspection, achieved the full monitoring of the whole inspection process and has produced outstanding social effects.
