摘要在各种类型的海事事故中,最能够揭示和生动体现出人为因素重要性的要属船舶碰撞。据估算96%的船舶碰撞事故中都有人为因素的影响,其中又包括理论知识、航海经验、判断、通信、避碰规则的遵守、设备的使用等等。通过对R.A.Cahill船长在他的著作Collisions and Their Causes中提到的某些船舶碰撞事故案例的进一步探讨,本文试图找出人为因素所体现出的具体特点并提出相关建议。
