摘要
回顾了含油气系统基本概念的发展经过及其含义，从研究内容、研究方法及侧重点几个方面对比了含油气系统与沉积盆地、成藏组合及目闭之间的区别。介绍了含油气系统的基本特征及某些分类方案，并对含油气系统的某些内容及其在油气勘探中的应用提出了一些看法。
The development process and meaning of the concept of “petroleum system”are re-viewed in this paper. Comparison of differences among petroleum system ,sedimentary basin,play and trap are made based on contents and methods. The essential characteristics and clas-sifications“petroleum system”are discussed in detail, and some consideration are put forwardabout some aspects of petroleum system and its application to oil and gas exploration.
