摘要
国内外学术界长期致力于士绅阶层,即传统社会的精英群体研究,并积累了相当丰富的研究成果。从学者们所关注的研究角度上,可以将以往的研究分为三个阶段:士绅论、乡绅论与地方精英理论。本文分别回顾三个阶段的主要研究成果。
In Chinese historical studies, the Gentry level has always been a research issue. From the scholars' point of view, we would divide it into three phases: Gentry-theory, Country Gentleman-theory and Local Elite-theory. This study reviewes the research results and analyzes the question of the three phases, and discusses limitations in the past research. Based on it, this study tried to advancing the research of the Elite level.
