摘要
简述了多晶莫来石纤维的性能及其与硅酸铝纤维的对比，着重介绍了武钢加热炉应用多晶莫来石纤维的试验研究，对其在节能、护炉方面的效果进行了评价，并就多晶莫来石纤维的应用前景作了探讨。
Properties of mullite fibre and its comparison with the aluminum silicate are briefly described in the paper where emphasis is placed upon the introduction to the experimental application of the mullite fibre to the reheating furnace in WISCO as well as upon the evaluation over the effects of this material on the energy conservation and furnace protection· Prospect for its future application are also deaIt with.
