摘要
某汽车发动机空心排气门在开发试验中发生开裂。对断裂气门进行一系列理化分析寻找失效原因,并对排气门在工作环境下的热应力和机械应力进行有限元分析。分析结果表明,排气门是因高温、热应力、机械应力的综合作用下发生机械疲劳而开裂的。结合有限元分析数据对失效气门进行了设计优化,以提高空心排气门安全系数,最终优化设计的排气门顺利通过开发试验及台架耐久考验。
The hollow exhaust valve of a vehicle engine failed in the engine durability test.A series of physicochemical analysis was made to find out the root cause of the failure,and the thermo-mechanic stress of the exhaust valve during engine operation was investigated by the finite element analysis.The results showed that the failure of the exhaust valve attributed to the fatigue caused by high working temperature and high thermo-mechanic stress.Through the finite element analysis,the design of the hollow exhaust valve was improved to increase its safety factors.As a result,the improved hollow exhaust valve passed the engine durability test smoothly.
