摘要
本文分析了不同时期外语院校英语专业课程设置的利弊,提出了对当今外语院校英语专业课程设置的启示,结合《国标》的指导思想探讨了外语院校课程建设应该支持的培养目标,提出了对新时期外语院校英语专业公共课程、专业核心课程、专业方向课程、实践教学等方面的思考,希望对外语院校英语专业的课程设置及课程建设有所启发。
This paper probes into the merits and demerits of the CD （ course designing） for English majors of foreign studies u- niversities （FSUs） in different historical periods in China and gives their implications for the development of the CD for Eng- lish majors in FSUs nowadays. Guided by The Criteria of Qualities of Educating Undergraduate English Majors in Chinese Tertiary Institutions, the author attempts to make some suggestions on the development of the CD for English majors in FSUs in China in the aspects of general courses, core courses, specialty-related courses, and practice courses. It may shed light on the CD and the development of courses for English majors in Chinese FSUs.
