摘要
伦敦现代城市交通体系的建构大体可以分为三个阶段,即初始阶段、成长阶段和成熟阶段,其交通体系呈现出立体化、采用新技术、城郊合理布局、管理趋于有序以及"福利"色彩的特征,而在城市交通与城市空间的协调、产业的分布、人口的迁移、城郊的扩展以及政府的管理等方面,伦敦的历史经验充分展现了现代城市发展与交通建设之间的紧密关系,这些对于我国现代城市的建设有着非常重要的现实意义。
The modern transportation construction in London can be approximately divided into three stages （the embry- onic stage, the growth stage and the mature stage）, which shows the three-dimensional characteristic, new technological utilization, rational distribution,ordered management, and ＇welfare＇ feature. It is a very important practical meaning for the construction of Chinese modern cities that London＇ s historical experiences of urban transport construction in the in- tegration of city space, distribution of industries, migration of population, suburban expansion, and government manage- ment fully revealed the development of modern cities is closely related with the transportation construction.
