摘要
欧洲文化是世界文化的重要组成部分,在中世纪,欧洲文化经历了特殊发展阶段,出现了两条不平衡的走向。在西欧,古典文化随着西罗马帝国的崩溃失去了继续发展的社会基础,一度倒退和停滞,走上了一条艰难曲折的发展道路。而此时东欧的拜占廷帝国接过了古典文化的火炬,在不断地东西文化交流中继承和发展了古典文化,形成了具有特色的拜占廷文化,既保证了古典文化持续向前发展,又将欧洲文明在更广阔的空间扩展,为欧洲文艺复兴的到来和人类文明的发展做出了贡献。
The culture of Europe is one of the most important part of world culture. In the Medieval, the culture of Europe undergo the special phase,apperancing two differert ways. In western Europe, classical culture with the western Roman Empire break down, it lost the social base, coming out backward, the development of it is very difficult. However, the eastern byzatine Empire inherited the classic culture. In the communicating process of eastern and western culture, it inherited and developed the classic culture and shape the special the Byzantine culture. So that the classical culture can advanced rapidly, and the Europe culture scope widely. Byzantine culture makes a big contribution to the Renaissance and the development of the world culture.
