摘要
社会分层是当代社会学最引人注目的研究课题之一。本文从社会分层的一般标准入手，通过潜在分层与外显分层的纵横比较分析，认为随着现代社会的发展，高等教育对社会分层及其流动的影响越来越大，高等教育作为一种潜在的分层标准，直接影响着人们社会地位的获得与流动。
The study of social stratification is in recent years becoming a notable and important subject in modern sociology. From the Viewpoint of ordinary standard, based on the free comparison between the latent and the outward stratifications the authour points out that with the development of modern society the higher education will play more important roles in social stratification and the mobility. Moreover, being a kind of latent standard of stratification, higher education will influence peoples acquisition of social position and mobility.
