摘要
大学之道在于求知和求善的统一,求知是手段,求善是目的,在此意义上,大学是一个伦理实体。"平民大学"坚持的是平等主义哲学,它除了具有一般意义上大学所具有的伦理特征以外,蕴含着在"资源—权利"层面上的公平公正性;在价值取向上对绝大多数人幸福生活的追求;在"意识—人格"层面上对平民意识和平民人格的塑造,培养"人中人"的平民归属感和幸福感的深刻伦理意蕴。
